There is no other artist greater than Elvis. He can sing any song, and make it his own. He has a fabulous band, and backing singers. And the Joe Guercio orchestra. All the added strings, and percussion just extenuate Elvis’ tremendous voice. There isn’t a song he couldn’t sing. And he has such a wonderful relationship with his audiences. He loves his fans! When a girl tore the shirt off his back once, he said she could do it because it was his fans who put it there. He knew how much they worshipped him and loved him as they still do today. A really great album! Elvis’ beacon of eternal flames 🔥 will burn even brighter and he will live on eternally. We adore him. I’m just praying, that DVD’s accompany all the wonderful new albums that are appearing here on you tube . There must be so many concerts for us to see, archived. There WAS and ONLY ever will be ONE ELVIS, when he done a show you certainly got a lot more than you could ever of imagined. ELVIS was they ultimate show man, he showed his appreciation to each and everyone of his FANS with his performances. ELVIS could sing any song and he did, he could put they emotion into a sad song, the joyfulness into an up beat song. ELVIS pronounced every word of every song so perfect, if your feeling down, sad or thinking of someone who is no longer with you, you know you can pick so many of ELVIS'S songs and it would some how help you. If your feeling on top of the world again you can have your pick of many many song's that just makes you feel like you can cope with anything and make you feel so HAPPY. No other artist PAST or PRESENT can put on a performance like ELVIS did. He always wondered what his purpose was, he was meant to be the BIGGEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME, he GAVE so MUCH, until in the end he couldn't give ANYMORE. The more ELVIS gave the more we took, there isn't a day goes by that I don't listen to ELVIS, he is my IDOL, when he did sell out tours to 20.000/30.000 even 40.000 fans it was as if he was singing just to you. He APPRECIATED EACH and EVERYONE of his FANS, he said WE put him on the HILL, as far as I'm concerned there isn't a HILL or MOUNTAIN HIGH enough we could ever put ELVIS on to show him how much we LOVE him, ADORED him, RESPECTED him and will keep his MUSIC ALIVE, we will tell our KIDS, GRANKIDS etc because a LIFE without ELVIS'S MUSIC is a very QUITE and LONELY LIFE. We OWE him so MUCH, he gave us so much in 21 YEARS, his SONG, LPs, MOVIE'S can you IMAGINE what else he would of done had he not so cruelly not been TAKEN. His LIFE was CUT far to SHORT. There is ONLY ONE performer who deserves the title the KING, and that is the ONE and ONLY ELVIS PRESLEY XXX

In my opinion, no other singer can touch him. His singing is always perfect to me. His voice makes his songs feel,so personal, so intense. Rest easy beautiful man.

Here he was set on freshening things up. A new setlist and format. The opening nights were always luke warm....but E was very optimistic. Pisses me off he didn't stick with this longer, as humble as he he was. He was really down about the reception and chose to go back to the norm with some new material. He was so human and took what he did to heart. It wasn't a weakness, if anything it was a sacrifice he knowingly gave to make his fans happy. That is a huge selfless act and I respect his immediate feel for the crowd and his loyalty to them. Thus making this in hindsight a rare gem. Begs the question, did he know what he was doing way more than most give him credit for?

This is just phenomenal, Elvis is singing some great songs! His voice is just incredible. He’s joking around and toying with the ladies, fooling around when he introduces his TCB band, and orchestra. It takes you on a journey to the concert as if you were really there. Loved the slightly changed format on Polk Salad Annie. Love Down in the alley . This got me up on the floor, . Absolutely amazing ! I put my headphones on and Elvis was great! He was so clear and the band as always great. Some of the songs were not his usual on stage! Good time Charlie’s Got The Blues and I Never Been To Spain are great songs. I am so happy I found this!

I am 53 years old and an Elvis fan since the early 1970's. I love all of Elvis's concerts but there never seemed to be any crowd atmosphere in Las Vegas. I know that every concert in Las Vegas was a sell out crowd of 2,200 fans but when Elvis finished each song at the Las Vegas Hilton it sounded like about five people were applauding. When Elvis played in arenas that held 15,000 - 20,000 fans you could really hear the excitement of the crowd. Elvis was always great wherever he played I am talking about the venue, not Elvis himself. Elvis will always be the greatest entertainer of all time and the one and only king of music. You have done a great job with this great concert, Glen.

Had the pleasure of seeing the King live in 76 and twice in 77 when I was in my early teens. Awesome, unforgettable shows which I will never forget even though dad complained about the 15 dollars per ticket price tag for excellent seats ( just paid 250/tix for nosebleed seats for the Stones lol). This would Have been the show to see because it is an entirely different set from what he always did live. If anybody in this audience was complaining at the time they should hopefully realize they saw a unique side of Elvis musically

And above all HE should have come to Europe and particularly to ITALY!! We love HIM so much🧛🎸🏆❤️🇮🇹

No matter how many Elvis shows I hear or watch on KZfaq, one thing is consistent, Elvis never cheated his fans on effort! I've heard almost a couple hundred of his concerts from 69-77 and he never gave more in Vegas than he did in El Paso or in Uniondale, NY! Sure he had his off nights for whatever reason but he never cheated his fans!

No other singer could come even close. Elvis was a professional beautiful singer. Who could sing anything, conduct his band jazz every song up , sing a multitude of different types of music. He worked hard, and rehearsed hard. Always had to be on point. Interacted with his fans, as if family. He will remain irreplaceable, and unique. Thank you for putting in I'm sure hours to clean up the sound by the way sounds great and fantastic photos I'm a huge Elvis fan before they destroyed the original plaza at Graceland we were there in Memphis just about every year haven't been since they destroyed the original plaza some things DON'T need fixing they should've ask the fans what is it that brings you back year after year it's because we wanted to be were he loved to be home at Graceland and across the street the plaza was pretty much like it was when he died but in their eyes they saw money and now the spirit of Elvis is gone if he could come back he wouldn't recognize the place as though they moved Graceland somewhere strange very sad but thanks again for preserving the greatest entertainer and voice ever

Taped almost 3 years before the day he died. What surprises me on the opening song "Big Boss Man," is how hot the female backup singers are. Hotter than usual and not so polished...more soulful. "Proud Mary," was incredibly tight. "Down in the Alley," was a wonderful surprise. A great live version of "It's Midnight." Wah wah guitar on "If You Talk In Your Sleep," was excellent. This entire concert is almost like Dylan when he would sing some songs deep in his catalog instead of his expected stuff. Presley should have done this on occasion -- not lots of them but two or three. Most Presley fans loved anything he did. "I'm Leavin'" too is not performed often. Hearing Presley do songs he didn't often do in concert was refreshing. This entire upload is excellent Glen Page. If you cleaned it up you did an excellent job. It does sound like a live concert test considering how Elvis is talking to the band. Too bad RCA didn't tape this concert for possible release -- it's a great set and not a duplication of Madison Square Garden & Hawaii. A great energetic end to "Polk Salad Annie." "Bridge Over Troubled Water," was magnificent in this concert.

Whenever I hear him sing It's Midnight - always breaks my heart. No matter how we feel about it - that song is definitely for Priscilla. Especially when he says "wishing I could be the man I try to" He just couldn't be that man.

I love this show. In that show Elvis broke taboo, did everything different. He sang another sequence of songs anyway did what he wanted. But the next show came back with the old format.It seems the audience did not like the innovation. The songs are beautiful and peacock jump is beautiful too. Elvis always!!
