I once read that the number 1 cause of dying early it’s unexpected trips to the floor. Put another way someone tripping and falling is often the event that leads to a series of other health issues that can drastically reduce someone’s health span and lifespan.
Your ability to get to and from the floor is one of the most important skills for you to maintain throughout your life!
My own personal goal is to do a Turkish get up with the beast (48kg!) on my birthday for as long as I possibly can so that when the day comes that I can only do the Turkish get up with a bottle of water in my hand I am actually still capable of full body joint control, mobility and coordination that may in fact extend my life and the quality with which I am able to move through it.
