This is an update on the progress of the rebuild. I cleared all the Scavengers, rubble, mud and decorations that were mostly broken. I also rebuild all the walls, floors and roof although there are still some cosmetic final touches that need to be done. The whole place looks very empty at the moment but I am planning to create dedicated spaces all over the castle for each of the craftspeople like proper Blacksmith workshop, Alchemy laboratory etc. Final stage will be probably the lords chamber and maybe an outer fortification and maybe some bastions so it resembles a real castle more.

The house he is looking at, at 1:19, is the best spot for an alter. I put mine right on the patio by the stairs, in the corner as an extension to the interior. Covers everything in the area and is in decent, welcoming spot

Awesome rebuild! Looks amazing. If only they had the NPC mechanics that medieval dynasty has then you could also populate the town and give them different roles. That would be so awesome.

Yeah, thats the only thing I don't like in the game. It needs way more NPCs. If you build a massive town or rebuild settlements like this one, it feels so dead... Hopefully in the future they will make an option that u can take out NPCs from the time capsules, like the 5 we already have. They should also add atleast a few settlements to the world where u actually meet with survivors. I know the story that everybody died etc, but cmon.. being the only dude on this massive map literally gives me depression :"D

There is a spot you can place the altar so you get the full Keep, town. Bastion Walls and the 3 buildings outside in their entirety. Spent the entirety of yesterday placing one, leveling it, checking its perimeter and repeating until I had the whole town lol. Just behind the large several story Tavern building as you are crossing towards the small building that goes up to the keeps level there is a square spot of flintstone blocks that can be cleared of clutter just outside the rear doors and down the stairs. Fullt upgraded altar will extend just onto the cliff behind the keep and just past that building you didn't have fully in your perimeter

if you wanna cover the entirety of the town you have to place the altar where he has placed his workbench. thats what i did, and i managed to cover erey single building, even the ones outside the walls

amazing rebuild! how much flintstone did you need to rebuild? I just found this place yesterday and I want to put my main base here

around 20k flintstone blocks, 10k Half-Timbered Block and maybe 5k Roof tile blocks

@@michaelk42069 Iron pickaxe, perks for mining, endurance and energy restoration buffs from advanced recipes and max rested bonus make a lot of difference.

Underneath Glennwood is just layers and layers of flint building blocks, probably because they built the town and then imported it. Just make a hole and go mad, we've been renovating, spent maybe 50-60k flint and haven't made a dent in whats there!@@michaelk42069
