It’s so heartwarming to see how kind Dr. Lydia with us with all equines - and here especially with Glimmer. Glad he gets such amazing care now!

Awww, it's good to see Glimmer getting some vet love. He was being so good about his ears too! I really ike tht Dr Lydia has decided that not everytime he's brought in will be ear treatment time, rather she'll do something nice in order to get him to understand that having touches around that area isn't so bad 💜

Glimmer has been through so much in his life..what Clant Seay did to highlight the cruelty of The Big Lick and to rescue sweet Glimmer was amazing..what Dr Nancy did to get rid of all of those ear growths was amazing..as for his ribs..just goes to show you what the kick of a horse 🐎 can do..and how clever they are at hiding their pain and owee's... I love how Dr. Lydia spoke so calmly and quietly to keep him relaxed..great to see this beautiful horse living his best free life..and Clant.. I'm sure you are watching from above and rejoicing in the fact that from February 1st 2025 The Big Lick stacks..chains.. and soreing is BANNED !!! YOU DID IT BUDDY..!!

Would it be possible that his immune system was so focussed on trying to heal where the rib fractures were in that area that they stopped working on fighting the virus that was attacking his ears I’m curious

How are Glimmer's ears doing? I have been wondering how he is doing, and I'm so relieved to see that he is still there being sheltered and very well taken care of! I don't remember if Dr. Nancy had discovered that he had fractured ribs? Thank you for mentioning the care she had given him during her time there Dr. Lydia: you two made a great team! I'm very happy to see you now have another great Dr to help you treat, and take care of all the animals there ❤️ i think it would be super cool if Dr Gina and Dr Nancy got to meet! I hope Dr Nancy's Mom is doing ok: I really miss her, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Dr Scott is an awesome Veterinarian as well ❤️ HSPHS have been Blessed with 4 amazing Veterinarians since I first started watching: thank you all for what you do! ❤

Y'all should get some curved grooming shears for trimming the inside of his ears, they are much sharper (so it doesn't take as long to trim) and because they are curved out, you don't risk cutting them if they jerk away. They are a game changer.

So glad you saved him , so sad big lick is still happening, and horse slaughter in 2024. I have 55 years of loving and working 💪 and owning my own ❤horse 🐎 as a teenager ❤Hes been passed 35 years and it still brings tears to my eyes 👀 ❤
