Introducing MuSAFAR Tech Cane, a final year project supervised by Dr. Maryam Jabbar from the Optometry Department at the University of Faisalabad.
This smart cane is designed to assist blind individuals in detecting obstacles and navigating their surroundings with confidence, aligning with the following SGD goals:
- Goal 4: Quality Education - enhancing accessibility for visually impaired students
- Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth - promoting independence and employability
- Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities - bridging the gap for visually impaired individuals
- Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities - creating accessible and inclusive environments
