Glitched up VHS tape - Better Quality

Got my capture card so I had to rerecord this - An old VHS tape I found that has become incredibly messed up over the years. It's basically a KZfaq Poop.

Imagine you're a kid living in the 80's era. You stay up late at night watching TV as your parents are sleeping in their bedroom. The room is almost completely dark, no lights on, the TV is the only source of light you have. Everything seems normal, until your TV begins to glitch just as it did in this video. Then, suddenly, your TV turns off...you're in complete darkness...something's behind you...

Wow, every time the pitch shifts and slows down and makes the voices all distorted is just so hilarious. XD

Remember when tv would speed up slow down rewind ffw then lock up and it'd say we're experiencing technical difficulties? I once seen the technical difficulties thing mess up and do all those sounds then freeze up too. I was like man, everything they're playing tonight is messing up lol. That was 89 I believe on CBS in Houston Texas.

Well, then I'm guessing this stuff was recorded somewhere around early 1992, based on the only date we're given (THU FEB 06 appears on the Prevue guide channel, and in 1992, February 6th was on a Thursday.)

@OBSysteme If at least a few seconds is still readable at the very very beginning it'll at least accept it. DVDs will show a scrambled picture if they have damage after the little bit at the beginning. If the machine can't find anything at the very very beginning, that's when the machine/computer rejects it and says "ERR"

@@ognjenmilosevic4615 they used a blank tape and recorded some stuff off of the TV then proceeded to record the 1st blank tape onto another blank tape and so on

Ha! That's "Young and the Restless" because me and about my whole entire family watches that show. I watch it when I'm out of school. I love that show. By the way, that tape is pretty Eff-ed up! LOL! The announcer at 1:46 on that commercial sounds like he smoked too much crack! lmao!

dude, how much was this recorded over? usually, VHS tapes can only be recorded over about 50 times before you start seeing 2 things on screen at the same time, which is what you see at 1:10

That happened to me once when I was playing back a VHS tape of "A Bug's Life" and in the middle of playback, it snapped on me while I was watching the movie. As I was watching it, I saw the last remnants of what was on there slowly go down my screen to nothing but white, followed by the recorded sound shifting into nothing but noise.

So for now since at September 2014 are be can shown at 60FPS (at 720p|960x720) but this in a clip are be 30FPS anyway (480p)...

Thon Colin Films It's merely a device that allows you to send the content of your VHS/Beta/whatever tapes you have through your PC. Having your tapes in the digital age won't be a dream anymore...

And oh, bad reception when analog was a thing. I used to have one channel (cable channel 68 was the Food Network) and I saw a sync bar slowly go from the right hand side of my screen to the left hand side very slowly at the 0:45 mark).
