I also really love that your own shows were imagined by lone indie animation creators, like Liam Vickers (man he can pack a lot of lore into one 20-minute video), who you reached out to in hopes of letting their imaginations thrive! We don’t appreciate indie animators as much as we should and editors (like myself) as well. people spend a lot of time and effort creating something, for it to just flop (coming from someone who knows all about that pain 😭)

I don't know how you guys do it, but every time I see one of those indie animations & think: "Wow that's a great idea for an animated series, too bad it will never get made" You guys just go "Hey, why not collaborate with them & make it a real thing!" I like to see how indie animations are helping each other, there are times when big studios buy ideas just to throw them in the drawer and not let other people do it, and they won't do it because they are busy doing yet another reboot

Do yall really want to know why infie animations are so good? Because they're made by dreamers. Their dreams that they really work on, and can only be created by people actually liking the idea enough to help support its creation. Not to mention they try their hardest for the quality to be good so we as viewers will help continue supporting and funding it. It's lengthy and tricky and even exhausting, but that's what makes these things so special.

This is the future I think we all want. Creators supporting each other, rather than going against each other. One day, I might try to get into indie as well, and this is exactly what new creators would need.

I just gotta say, Indie Animation and Indie productions have just been a HUGE source of inspiration for me over the past few months. Seeing people do these things and thinking, "Wow, a person made that! Hey, I'm a person, I can make something too!" With that new inspiration the creative flame within me has been reignited and I've gotten back to work on my own stories! I am super excited for the future of Indie Animation and all the inspiration that comes with.

I like how the indie animation scene is sort of an inversion of the Hollywood/corporate animation business model. Where big-budget films sometimes are produced solely with the intent to market merchandise (think Star Wars/Marvel), in the indie scene the merch only exists to fund the production.

Indie animation has become better than most of the new Disney movies, at least in my opinion. Indie animation is just made with a lot more heart and creativity and I absolutely love and appreciate it. The first thing I'm gonna do when I get my money this month is to get myself some merchandise✨

I'm so happy of how much my baby has grown. I've been watching SMG4 since 2012, to think that it all started from memes and now look at all the amazing indie shows they've been working on. I really appreciate the culture of collaboration in the indie animation community. Unlike big studios, indie studios support each other instead of viewing one another as a competition. This collaborative approach is rarely seen in larger studios, except in the case of an acquisition, which is more about purchasing than helping.

The fact that most indie animations on KZfaq have better ideas and creativity than Disney movies nowadays, just says a lot about this community, considering how hard it is to animate or come up with ideas and create creative characters.

Glitch is single-handedly helping other indie shows, entertaining us, and inspiring people to possibly pursue indie animation all in one fowl swoop.

I can feel that one day, maybe one day, indie animation will surpass in profits major animation studios like Disney, either by Disney and most bad animation studios will have almost zero profits or by indie animation will grow so much it'll stop being considered indie at all.

cannot believe im saying this: but the bots have been a huge help in making these indie animations a thing! For those who don't know. Comments and views (including the bot ones) makes videos like these show up more in the algorithim and get recommended to more people.
