I love how they gave Alphys the most nerdy and simultaneously badass name for her theme song ever. Think about it. The name is both a reference to an old retro game and a Japanese game which is very similar in style to an anime. It's beyond fitting.

Don't call her 'Betty'. That makes her sound happy and friendly, of which she is the exact opposite. Call her by her real name:Bete Noire

What I love about this AU is that all the characters get love, even if it's some more than others. And the plot twist just hit you like a truck. It's not just "SANS SANS SANS," everyone plays their own realistic part in this story, and I can't wait to see where the story goes next.

In Undertale, when you do a Neutral Route and kill Mettaton, it is *heavily* implied that Alphys killed herself in Waterfall. In this episode, while Alphys wanted to fight Betty head on to show her courage and protect others, she also knew she likely wouldn’t win. She knew she would likely die, and I believe that is one of the main reasons she fought Betty in person: She wanted to die.

I like how in the pinned comment, people were freaking out over the title, when I, a loser of a person, immediately recognized it as a reference to 'Embodiment of a Scarlet Devil'. For those who don't know, that's a Touhou song. Touhou's a bullet hell game, so think like Undertale battles with the Yellow Soul, but...Way more difficult, and better graphics, since the whole game is bullet hell. Also, clearly something that Alphys would play, considering the characters, story, etc.. Enough ranting though, nicely done song!

I just realised something. The Embodiment of a Yellow Devil sounds just like The Undying but using a different key or a different tone. It's basically the same song. That scene where betty gets shot by Jessica&alphys is in my opinion the best scene in the entire episode, i already knew the track before do or die came out so when i heard it at that moment i got chills (and jessica is my favorite character)

When I looked this exact title up out of boredom, I was expecting something along the lines of a Touhou/Mega Man crossover. And then this appeared. Boy was I surprised. Pleasantly, of course. May not be a Touhou/Mega Man crossover, but this is good stuff.

Still one of my fav songs. It's weird that I grew up with Glitchtale, but instead of being nostalgic I'm just asking myself "how did I enjoy this" 😅

Personally, I was disappointed with the final battle used with this. I really wanted to see more of Alphys using her orange and blue lasers, her quirky contraptions, and more. But, nothing really came from it. Listening to this alone, it sounds so badass, and by imagining a different fight, it is 10x better.

I really like music, i've heard very much good music, and it was lifted me on skies, lifted my spirit and emotions, but your music, Embodiment of a Yellow Devil, second track that made me cry(first was Bring It On), tears welled up, i was such affected by this track in Camila's animation, Alphys' output against Betty was so amazing, i such worried about Alphys, i was so happy in this moment, i can't explain it. When you release The Undying, i had the same effect as Embodiment, and in animation, I WAS RAISED WITH UNDYNE TO BATTLE, from start to end of track, it was incredible, hah, very many moments was amazed me, but when Undyne said " I AM THE SPEAR OF JUSTICE!" your music was specially great, it was epic and impressively. THANK YOU VERY MUCH , NYX, YOU ARE THE BEST!) Сreate the same magnificent music in the future!
