It’s time for a Too Much Gold build, more like “Not Enough Gold how am I gonna do this OMG?” build 😬. There are not a whole lot of gold pieces in Lego, it’s mostly used as an accent colour (unless you’re building the Infinity Gauntlet and then it’s alllllll gold). But I don’t have that one, so here we are with limited pieces and a build challenge on our hands. Can I make something cohesive? It’s not looking likely. It’d be handy to be King Midas right about now…..
If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Lego is an artistic medium and no matter your building expertise there is something here for everyone. This is incredibly awesome!!! What also would have been cool is if you did the build as a royal carriage or something like that as you had the circle pieces. It could be open spaced as well for less use of bricks and you could use the wings of the horse to make it able to fly- in your imagination of course!

Okay this is absolutely brilliant! It might be my favourite too much colour build of yours so far (together with the blue one), it all seems kind of Elven to me and I guess that's why I love it. Also, it reminds me of what I think the Olympus would look like! ~Wavey ;)

Ellie, the worst thing happened with the Sims 4. My game data somehow got deleted, so I watched a tutorial on how to fix it. It worked, but everything in my library got deleted, and when I tried to finish my Madrigal Family, I had to restart. Good thing I had only made Dolores and Mirabel so far.😲😫

I loved this, i the running for favourite 'too much' build after the 'too much iso'. The toilet paper throne. Mercury/Hermes: God of travellers and messengers.

Here's my backstory for this build: Aurelia (i hope i spelled that right) is the Queen of the air/sky element, but just because she's a queen, doesn't mean she's all 'sit down and look pretty', she is actually very talented elemental. Her air/sky element ability is so strong that she can also use light and (some say that the reason there is gold is because its a color of light and sky but she has not confirmed this). another theory is that she has a unique connection with plants and that is why she has plants in her room, but again this is just a theory, she might just like having plants. the harp is a enchanted harp that she can use to do even stronger air/sky elemental-ism, when she plays it she is so connected to the air and the sky. the table is a enchanted table, she can use the lantern (because she can also use some light) and create some wind around it to [redacted for security] and [information unavailable outside of the kingdom]. she also has a elemental staff that she earned when she protected her kingdom when she was young. the fact that the walls aren't really walls are so that she can be open to the air and sky (i imagine the build to be somewhere high up). the architecture is also because of this (the swirls and wings). you may notice how there aren't squares or sharp angles, this is also because of how the wind acts. I hope you liked my little backstory! (this is just my backstory though, if you disagree with this or imagined something else then that's perfectly fine, i'm glad you're also imagining stories for the build)

Ellie did Tan tan base plates look close enough in matches with the gold and I think you should do a two much forest so that means you can use any color but it gotta look forest 🌳

Hi Elliev so I thought I should ask but don't know if someone asked before but why not do a build kinda like the modern princess apartment but with the lego elves or lego friend, I really love you're videos.
