Global developmental delay is an umbrella term used when children are significantly delayed in their cognitive and physical development. It can be diagnosed when a child is delayed in one or more milestones, categorized into motor skills, speech, cognitive skills, and social and emotional development.

There is usually a specific condition that causes this delay, such as Fragile X syndrome or other chromosomal abnormalities. However, it is sometimes difficult to identify this underlying condition.

My son is doing good and We're having his physiotherapy regularly! after your wonderful prescription and medications Seizures have stopped within three months! 🙏 By what age if Vitamin B12 or Thyroid deficiency not addressed then can cause a permanent GDD ?

My son is 3.4 months and he has been identified with GDD at the age of 1 yr . He is preterm baby born at 32 weeks 5 days. Post birth he was identified with Meningitis and was in NICU for 28 days. At age of 1 yr he was diagnosed with GDD and hearing impaired. He also has pronated foot. He was also hypotonia. Currently he was walking with support and moving around. But he doesn't follow our instruction efficiently and not focus or willingly to learn things. Please suggest as per Dr he has a heterogenous genetic.

Mam meri beti 7 years ki hai aur usse gdd hai. Uski body muscles bahut weak hai. Walk aur run bhi karti hai but stairs up down support ke sath karti hai. Samjhti sab hai. Bolti kam hai. Abhi uska iq level ka test hoga. Command follow karti hai sari.

Meri beti 3 year ki he ...Bo khud khati he peti he ..But bol kuch nhi pati bus apne aap me papa mama or jane kya kya badbadati rhti he eye contact nhi krti name pr responce nhi krti .... sekhti bahut jaldi he 1 year tak eye contact banati thi chalne lgi thi ..Fir mobile dekha usne 4to 5 hour per day or ab kuch bhi nhi krti

Please reply me🙏 I am very tensed My girl was 3-6 months delay in her motor development physically. Speech delay also. Now she is 2 years& 3 months old, She say 10 words only. Otherwise she is fine socially and emotionally. Is she has normal intelligence

Maam mera beta ko doctor ne adhd bataaya tha but dusre doctor ne gdd bataaya hai. Age 5 yr Lekin Koi test ya medicine nhi bataya. Sirf therapy recommend ki hai. Please guide kya koi medication bhi hai. Kya doctor ke pass jaye.

Ma,am main aur meri mama bht zada concerned thy about my son, mery husband nai maanty thy k theek ho jaey ga fikar na kro but jb 8 mah tk without support nai betha n aur b babbling ya pointing ya kuch nai kia to hum ly k gaye,, but doctors ny mery bety ko vitamin d k drops k injection pilany start kr diye aur itny pilaey k us ka vitamin d toxic level py puhnch gyaa.. phr b nai chla betha to is k test start kiye test b clear aaey like thyroid n all that required,, all were clear phr brain MRI suggest kia wo krwai to brain defects nikly... He is 3 years old can't walk cant talk, cant point the things,, dobt listen until he is attracted himself towards anything... I am soo much worried about him ,,his future
