Yeah, you should be worried, but direct that worry into reading, research and collective action, if you can. The politicians aren't going to tell us the truth, let's start there. They are the clowns of the rich, ruling elite circus owners trying to distract the working class so the elites can profit even more. The system is the sickness. Capitalism is socially, economically and ecologically unsustainable. Proven by so many data points and researchers, it is undeniable (e.g., Jason Hickel, Richard Wilkinson, David Graeber). We must recognize the root problem and take steps to move beyond it. That is uncomfortable for most people, I know, but it is a critical step: Acceptance of the problem. We've been lied to by the many social institutions set up long before we were all born and that has led many of us to not know the truth, unless we seek it ourselves. We aren't told really what capitalism is, what the origins of money are, how modern money works, what communism and socialism, structurally are about; no, we are propagandized about these things or not told about them at all. Well, the truth IS out there, but we need to know where to look. Like those who saw Zeitgeist: Addendum and Moving Forward by Peter Joseph got hit with some real truths. I don't know if you are prepared for the acceptance part, but if you are, you can move pretty quickly on to the strategic action part.

I'm optimistic that Conservatives will win, but only very cautiously so. Trudeau needs to go, but if the Conservatives don't energetically move to bring immigration inline with something more sustainable (i.e. dramatically), then no, we can't afford them for 50 years.

During their decade in power multi-millionaire Pierre and his conservative colleagues had the worst economic & jobs creation performance of any CDN gov since WW2. PP does not care about you! Every single Conservative just voted against providing access to lower cost diabetes medication! While CDNs struggle to put food on the table or pay their bills, Poilievre just voted against ensuring they can afford their medications. That's absolutely wacko!

How about we use the resources we have to get ahead on the world stage, and get our ruined economy back on track. No point is trying to save the country environmentally, when none of us can afford to live. This guy's a Sabotuer at this point.
