U.S. President Joe Biden hit the campaign trail Friday, and his message was loud and clear: "I am running and gonna win again." But calls for him to drop out of the presidential race aren't letting up. As Jackson Proskow reports, today's rally in the battleground state of Wisconsin marks the start of a crucial weekend - one that could make or break Biden's political future.
In Ontario, it's going to be a lot harder to buy alcohol in the province over the next couple of weeks. Thousands of workers with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) went on strike Friday. The issue at the centre of the job action? Premier Doug Ford's ambitious plans to make alcohol more accessible throughout Ontario. This is a goal employees say could put their jobs under threat. Mackenzie Gray explains.
In Newfoundland and Labrador, nearly 300 victims who suffered abuse by the Catholic clergy finally know how much the Archdiocese will have to compensate them. A bankruptcy proceeding has determined the church must pay out $104 million for sexual and physical abuse cases dating back decades. But as Heidi Petracek explains, it's money the now-bankrupt Archdiocese doesn't have.
After 10 months apart, a Palestinian man has finally reunited with his young family in Quebec. The university professor arrived in the province just before the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict. As Franca Mignacca reports, he had been trying desperately to get his family out of Gaza ever since.

They have another 4 years the fail miserably, as designed, to then give us another round of whatever half-brain promising whatever, and more wars on whatever and whatever else and not, as long as we keep believing anything they say, why should they change anything?
