Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida addressed U.S. lawmakers in a joint session of Congress Thursday, warning about the "imminent danger of nuclear weapons proliferation in East Asia."
"North Korea's nuclear and missile program is a direct threat," Kishida warned.
"North Korea’s provocations have impact beyond the region. It has also exported its ballistic missiles to support Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. As I often say - Ukraine of today may be East Asia of tomorrow," the Japanese PM added.
"Russia continues to threaten the use of nuclear weapons which has contributed to worldwide concern that yet another catastrophe by nuclear weapon use is a real possibility. In this reality, close coordination between Japan and the U.S. is required more than ever," said Kishida.
He is only the second Japanese leader to address the body; Shinzo Abe gave a speech to Congress in 2015.

Now yes. They still put in their high school text books that didn’t invade China, they defended China from white invasions . Continue to deny the Nanking massacre. No apologies to the comfort women. But let’s look forward to the future.

24:45 PM Kishida, why are you skipping Taiwan from your like-minded regional framework partnership? Isn't Taiwan located at the south of Japan and north of Philippines? Isn't Taiwan in Indo-pacific? What are you afraid of mentioning Taiwan? (bigger than Netherlands). you are still a politician.
