im open to be convinced otherwise, but heres my take it seems most of the advantages listed here are only about it being wired. this can also be done using a long ethernet cable (with cat6a going up to *10gbps*) and a mesh device of your choice, as long as it supports wired backhaul. i get people wanting to have a clean aesthetic, but going straight to using fiber feels a little excessive. i also get the fact that the fiber itself wont have to be upgraded in forever, but most people will probably be fine with 10gbps ethernet for a very good while. in addition, i think the technology is still a bit too new for proper use. it would be pretty interesting to see this succeed, though.
