That's what's cool with this game, characters have their og abilities, they don't have a nerfed version for the sake of balance. They get the unfiltered ability and get balanced in some other way, it really makes you feel like you are playing the charachter

Hopefully this is the standard. I don’t want to pay for someone like Miwa who should’ve been in the base game. Save paid DLC for the important characters and Free for lesser ones

Releasing free dlc characters alongside paid dlc characters is probably the best way to keep a game active fun and engaging. This game might be “bad” (I think it’s a really good game imo. Very fun and casual game that isn’t meant to be super competitive but has potential to be great) But again this game might be “bad” but this sort of love and passion for a game looks great!

I've been watching a bunch of DBFZ stuff and I have a few ideas for a DBFZ type JJK game. The main character ive thought about is gojo so ill speak mainly on him. So for the main attack (and my personal favortite) domain expansions. For Gojo's Infinite Void, when activated, the opponent would be completely frozen which would allow for a free combo. For Sukuna, his domain would activate and deal massive damage with his cleave and dismantle. But to balance domain expansions, it would cost majority of your meter (I was thinking 7/10 meters or something like that) and domain expansions people could clash domain expansions to stop yours. I was thinking that the clash could work similar to Injustice where you could spend 1,2, or 3 bars to bargain and cancel your opponents domain expansion. There would also be moves for the people that haven't used domain expansions in the show yet. For example, Yuji could run at the opponent, and if he wins the clash, he could hit them with a black flash that cancels the domain and maybe stuns the opponent. Also, for Gojo's Infinity, you could have a move where Gojo walks accross the screen like he did to Hanami and negate all attacks. This would drain a lot of meter and he wouldnt walk very fast to balance it out. You could also go the route of having it be like a UI counter that will activate for a couple seconds and counter incoming attacks. For Gojo's supers, he could have Blue for his level one and Red for an alternative level one (Or a level 2). Then he would have Purple as his level 3. I have been having some trouble finding some supers for Yuji though because it seems like he mainly just throws punches. I was thinking that his level one would be a black flash but you could hold/press the button again to throw more until you reach the limit and do a more powerful black flash. But these were all just random thoughts I had while watching some old DBFZ vidoes and they would probably be very hard to balance correctly :3

The fact that 90% of lobbies are gonna be double gojo now brings the hype down a lot

Since they now add dlc characters for free this means they could actually update and change characters like giving megumi mahoraga or reworking the flame arrow and if they would rework stuff they may finally change domains by making them work like actual domains with sure hits

I still hope we get mechamaru to this game and noritoshi kamo together with choso, they somehow can bring a lot of variety to this game by being very unique characters in the show. It will be fun seeing who's next on the dlc list

My brother is so happy with this news and he's thinking to switch his main Maki for Togi, as for me I'm probably will be switching my main from Geto to young Geto.

I still find it so sad that few developers spend any time making a competent single player experience when the genre is fighting or RTS

Honestly, Byking consistently has really interesting combat mechanics and diversity, i just really wish they'd go back to the drawing board with this one because I think a JJK game could be so much better. That is, unless they do the unthinkable and do a massive change by making every move like Toji, and then just make Toji even faster than that. But tbh i feel like the game struggles at a core mechanic level, so I'd like to see what other directions JJK fighting games could go. (Also ideally hire better animators because aint no way they cant get better funding for a JUJUTSU KAISEN game. But i dont realistically know jack about the inner workings of bandai so whatever, ig we'll see)

To be honest i think this is really good for the game its taking a hella of a dive but if they can continue things like this the game can make a comeback. Shinobi strikers did something similar where it vanished but eventually revived due to of course price drops/some game changes and valid mechanics that needed to be fleshed out more. If this game can do that then no doubt itll be a fun little party fighter that many might enjoy

Crazy drop but wish they could fix some of the issues with the game . But hopefully we can have more dlc as it does need more characters . As I enjoy the game it's just felt stale quicker than my hero or other anome titles.

I found the game to be fun and I’m definitely getting the dlc for it. The only really big problem this game has is the lighting/shading of characters and some of the animations look weird. There might be more with online but I don’t play online

I think the game pretty good just need some balance changes And the way you're meant to do damage with combos is just learning how to use your skills in those combos whether it be knocked back or something else It definitely takes some time

I'm glad to see they're giving us this dlc, as much as I like toji and momo I do hope they aren't annoyingly broken
