Glocks 48 is Glocks 1911 in the way of fitment in the hand. A huge attraction to both guns.

I have owned several Glocks and other pistols, the Glock 48 is my favorite carry. My best home defense is my KSG, AR15, and Browning 9mm

I respect Glocks because they always work without any issue but I do wish the trigger was a little better along with the grip angle just feels a little off to me. I ended up switching my carry pistol to a P365X just because its slim and fits my hand a bit better. I posted a video not to long ago showing my carry pistol which is a P365X with a Wilson Combat grip module. My home defense is my Benelli M4 but I have highly considered getting a KSG for home defense because of the twin mag tubes!

Does anyone know if you can change the slide release over to the left side?

I’m assuming you meant switch it to the right side - but for the 48 I’m not sure if there is any type of ambi slide release. I know something like the 19X has an ambi slide release but I don’t think a company released anything for the 48. I could be wrong though!
