The best DIY video out there i struggled so long with plyers trying to squeeze the mag to get those 2 lips to close so the base pad could slide off now all I did was the first method and it worked in less than 30 seconds 😅🤦🏽‍♂️

Amazon glock tool kit front sight tool and magazine tool for like $10. Works great. As a mechanic, I love tools. It was an easy purchase for me!

The baseplate removal tool is cheap easy. Definitely worth getting

@@FNWendigo the tool costs the same as a decent screwdriver and works way better... If you don't remove baseplates then anything is fine, but if you train and practice and find yourself cleaning mags on a regular basis then the tool is the way to go.

@@vitogriffin8902 I remove my tool with a 99¢ screwdriver that I stole from home depot. I clean my magazines every time that I shoot, which is 1-2 times a week.

used the punch tool method and the inner base plate piece flipped 90 degrees and got stuck. had to use vice grips to rip off the outer base plate and shredded the damn thing. just get the oem remover tool..

Yeah I had to use my fingers to realize we got shorted 1 way. Never been a Glock fan just on looks mainly, I bought my first recently and I like it. Handy video For a newbie. Thanks bud!
