Ben ever tried a Smith and Wesson MP 2.0 with a Apex Tactical or Overwatch Precision trigger in them? I carried a Glock for 34 years on duty and after recently retiring I made the switch to the MP. I discovered the MP with the Apex or Overwatch trigger took this platform to another level.

The recoil spring of my Gen 5 17 broke (as you described) after between 4-5k rounds. Put a stainless from glock parts. 1k rds no problems so far and feels nice.

I'm trying a Ramm tactical trigger. Everything stays stock and it makes a significant difference.

My g19 recoil spring exploded after about 15k rounds. Glock sent a new one free of charge. +1 data point for you

The setups with the glock performance triggger, any other mods such as a thug plug or any changes like an extended slide stop? Or Is it just the talon tape,holosun and glock performance trigger?

I'm issued a Gen 5 17. After about 5k rounds I noticed the ejection started to get weird, and that the ejector was really beat up. Glock is beginning to skimp on parts.

Why do you not use CZ P10 as training guns? I’m new to the game and had Glocks. Really liked them and switched to CZ and and absolutely them. Both brands can out shoot me. I know I need to practice an absolute ton to get better. I just like the all steel feel of CZ. I Was wondering about all this grip angle stuff and carry over to training. Thanks.

Would be nice see your indepth shootability comparison of g45 vs g17 vs g34. Nowadays many say g45 has the best shootability because of the shorter slide which sounds odd as competition shooters have preferred longer slides even with red dots? Quite a lot controversy on the subject of which one has the least recoil or muzzle flip and which one is the better practical shooter with red dot as that negates the sight radius advantage of g17 or g34. Can't find any videos from credible sources on youtube that would compare g45 vs g17 vs g34 shootability and I bet that would get lots of views if you make it.

My biggest question is the comparison of the Glock performance trigger v. Apex v. Agency, etc. I just want a flat face trigger that is smooth, but don't know anything about modifying pistols. I run a stock Glock 17 Gen 5 with an Acro. That's it. If anyone has shot these different brands, I'm all ears.

Everyone at my home range hates Glocks. Not sure why, love mine. Just need to learn how to shoot it better. That is why I watch all of your vids.

Have you tried the Timney Alpha trigger for the Glock. Thoughts on it?

I actually sold all my Glocks and went with Shadow Systems . Everything about Shadow Systems is better for my application . Better ergos , trigger , barrel and optics mounting system . The Elite triggers have lightning fast reset . I use highly modified P320 X5 LEGION in 2Gun and USPSA CO . I freaking love that pistol . Ive been running the X5 for little over 2 years now . I have well over 10k on my X5 . I recently went to my LGS to look at / get a 2011 . When i got there the had very lightly used CZ SP01 on consignment for a ridiculously low price . I ditched going with 2011 and decided to deck out this SP01 . I've already ordered from your sight SS Guide Rod , Spring Kit and EXTENDED Left side Safely . I also ordered Lok Aggressive Gridlock Solid Brass Grips and AC Magwell . I'll be sending it off to CGW for SAO Flat Trigger Job and Optics Milling for 507C-COMPETITION. Hopefully i can find 507 Comp before i have to send it off . CGW said i have about 9 weeks before i ship it to them for the work . I'm hoping once SP01 is done it will be my new Competition Pistol for 2Gun and USPSA Limited Optics . I've already ran about 500 rounds of my reloads through the pistol and it works with X5 Loads . I cannot wait until it gets done. I ran G17 and G19 from 2006 to 2020ish . G19 G3 RTF2 was my EDC for almost 10 years . I picked up Shadow Systems in 2020 when their 920 series came and immediately fell in love lol . Im hoping after everything is said and done I'll have 3 pistols that i can trust with my life , XR920 Combat , P320 Custom AC X5 LEGION and CZ CGW Custon SP01. I have a buddy that has little over 85k rounds through his G17 . He had to replace the barrel at 50K and he replaced the slide at 80k . His is G4 MOS model . Pretty sure he put in the Timney Glock Trigger and its freaking sweet . I have niw tried the new G5 Triggers . I've heard good thing's about them . Either way bro thanks for the update . Holosun 507C-COMPETITION is an awesome optic . Last Saturday at the 2Gun match a dude my squad had one on his Staccato XC . Super awesome optic . Im sure Holosun will sell metric crapton of them .
