What I admired most about this woman is her commitment to ethics and her integrity and sense of clean morals and business practises. I guess that's why she's been around for so long. Also love her song, QUE SERA, QUE SERA!!!

She's STUNNING!!!!! I listened to her as a child. I remember she had a spot on Jane The Virgin as herself. I love her song "Coming Out of the Dark." She recovered from a serious car accident. I'm so happy for her.

Loved this film! I just "chanced upon it" on HBO and glad I watched it. They did a good way of reimagining it and feels different in a good way from the iconic 90s movie. Gloria and Andy had great chemistry! 👍🏻

She came to Fresno State in 1989. Small stage outdoors on grass. Beautiful lady and I was sitting front area on grass. She is so tiny & petite! Remember when she broke her back and Julio Inglesias took her to emergency hospital in his private plane?

I love Gloria and Andy as actors. I enjoyed the movie, my only comment is that because Gloria’s character was mad at her husband most of the movie, Gloria didn’t smile much until the end and she has such a lovely smile.

0:32 I'm not sure being in a 'remake' is something to be proud of especially with the two most memorable versions (and sequels) having come before it (with the latter two 90's films still very much ingrained in people's memories). Why call it Father of the Bride to begin with? Why not create a newer title to differentiate it from the others so as not to have people lament 'oh another remake.' The 1950 and 1991 versions were titled Father of the Bride (including the 1991's sequel although with the added Part II). Of note is the 1950's sequel which went with Father's Little Dividend. Apologies for the ramble.

I love Gloria Estefan! Her family went through so much in Cuba especially her father, so I respect them, they know how bad communist life is, and they don’t want that for America. I’m very surprised that The View treated her nicely being that she is a republican and yes she is.

Her family went through so much in Cuba? Such as…not blaming her, but oftentimes the Cuban political narrative is obfuscated by folks whose family left Cuba in the 60’s whose background we know nothing about. Estefan’s father was in Batista’s police force. Most of these folks are the children of families that left Cuba (they didn’t experience communism). This movie reflects how we view Cuban culture, certainly not through the prism of a multicultural society.

Ana: how do you balance work and family. Gloria's net worth is about 700 million dollars---I adore Gloria, but it's much easier if you have that kind of wealth to balance everything. The hatred and toxicity between the two women on the end is palpable. Why is this show still on? Unfortunately, this show has spawned other shows like it. It's the dumbing down of North America. Their focus is only being positive or putting a positive spin on things and talking entertainment because not many brain cells have to be used. The show will make claims that they do more than that but in reality it's a train wreck. Women are very toxic when other women are involved. Them asking Gloria, "how do you do it, girl?" Being rich should have been her response. Whoopi seems to have a clue as to what's going on.
