Iv changed my ways in christ. Except 1 thing which I need him to break off. He brought me away from 10+ years of heroin, then alcoholism. Then removed desire for pornography and sexual immorality. I am still stuck on a medication that I need a miracle to remove it. From my body and mind. I know you didn't bring me away from those things to leave me here Jesus so i know you will break it. My cousins and I used to pass hours playing Oral Roberts on our front lawn making up a range of disabilities and stories to accompany the 'affiliations'. Following our stories, our cousin Jay would play Oral and place his hands on the head of whomever turn it was, and say 'Heal!" with great gusto. These are some of my fave 50's memories as well as playing Queen for A Day, in which we got to use our youthful creativity again to make up stories and move on to another easier world. When I was 10 I started going to a Baptist church. I met the kindest people I’ve ever known and they were all about the fruit of the spirit of God. There was no speaking gibberish or giving $ to get back more or pretend healings. Nobody claimed Jesus spoke to them. There was no prophecies. It was a normal level headed church.
