Sittichai won. He was more in control and landed the more clearer shots. Marat landed some good shots also but it wasn't enough. There's a big difference between aggression and effective aggression. Marat is naturally a lot bigger and stronger then sittichai but Sittichai used the clinch every time he was in danger making Marat's aggression noneffective all whilst landing his own shots. Very smart.

+031ish I agree that this was a smart move.. In the MMA. According to Glory's rules everytime Sittichai goes in for a hold/clench and doesn't follow through with a knee it's a penalty on Sittichai, that's the reason for the controversy with this fight. Smart in a no rules fight, yes; Not so smart in Glory.

Come on, he landed a lot of knees in the clinch, very seldom he doesnt combo clinch in this fight and has a much higher accuracy rate every round.

+Damien Singer why do muay thai fans think you can break the rules just cause you've been dominating other parts of the fight? If he wasn't holding like he was in the 3rd round Marat would have hurt him it's just the truth. Watch Albert Kraus fight Aikpracha and then watch Marat fight Aikpracha.

They are countering Sittichai's rear kick very well. Right after blocking it, they low kick his lead leg.

Yea, was gonna say that. Sittichai could have fake the kick and go for a left or at least time that with his own counter. Probably just too tired

Great fight. Could have gone either way, but I think Sittichai did a bit more and glad he gets anther chance to fight RVR.

He’s one of the greatest welterweights of all time. Joseph Valtellini. Never even lost his title, had to retire due to concussion related issues. You’re complaining about a dude pretending he knows everything, while not knowing that he almost does know everything. Pretty ironic

when you saw grigorian's strategic counter leg kicks on sittichai's right leg get less powerful the more rounds it went, you knew he's losing it. he's very tough and strong though.

man... Glory needs to sort out their judges... Sittichai looses to Van Roosmalen... then one of the judges give Sittichai 30 - 27 against Marat Grigorian.. it was a close fight could of gone either way.. 30 -27? wth was that judge watching

There are always a huge misunderstanding with the boxers who fought and the viewers who view in glory or even judges of glory ? assumed that the blocking from any punching or from kicking or from any striking but often misses striking to the targets could make more points than less striking but strait to the targets I definitely not agree man ! this attitude could make glory reputations down

Love Sittichai but he clinches a lot.... Marat wins if the ref warned or penalized Sittichai. That would have forced Sittichai to not clinch.

He's a Thai. Clinching is what they do! They train there whole lives working in the clinch. Them clinching is like us walking. It's second nature. Don't be mad at him for doing what comes naturally to them

29-28, 29-28 okay that's fair to say but 30-27?????? wtf, where did that one come from? Rd-1 was very close but Sittichai took it. Rd-2 was a bit more obvious that Grigorian took it and Rd-3 i thought was even. So if anything Grigorian should of won it by a bumper as the racing community likes to say. Either way it was a great fight and very hard to judge but 30-27 is a wtf moment

I agree. Thais are good at acting like they didn't get hit by punches and Sittichai was stalling in the clinch towards the latter of the fight. You could see Sittichai was sick of getting hit after round 2

Sitichai has won Marat three times now, but I would argue that he has a chance to knock him out next time if they are going to fight against each other. Marat has got killing punches and if Sitichai is not being watchful then he might end up like Superbon.
