agree fairtex,buakaw even jose aldos low kicks are seriously sick,and that they have a chinbone so strong they can put down a banana tree which has pretty strong fibers,almost like a palme trees has.and even those small guys,hit a ordinary guy he would not walk for a week.and if they hit right mark on anybody no matter the size theygo down.kaoklai got known for fighting much larger dudes.knowing he only had few tools to win,and opponent had all,and had everything in their advance but speed.but he allways found a way to jumpkick a win,or make some grazy combos that put people away.only time i saw buakaw fight was a wmc against the champion jomhod kiatadisak,and as usually they start out slow,but even fight until buakaw landed hes combo,and 2. combo put him on the canvas,and after that easy for Buakaw to lowkick him for a W,muay thai are still one of the greatest sports and most brutal,though they take care of em self and know they wanna be able to fight next week.they dont have a 8 month quaranty where after a KO your not able to compete.they get KOed in training,if not carefull,and often when you see muay thai they only fight 80% all the time,unless in trouble or if knowing they need the KO.would have loved to see hong man choi vs a Semmy schilt though not fan of either.but dont think hongs muay thai and himself as a slow fighter woud stand a chance against a quicker dutch styled k1 fighter.even under muay thai i think semmy would be able to use a elbow or knee i know he can use good,while hong allways seemed very awkward of a fighter,and that wicked big ugly head of hes,gotta be easy to hit,almost only a kick can take such guys out in one hit,they can take mosts blows from a fist,unless of course in combos.but back to story with buakaw,he made it so short after he hit Jomhod with that naste lowkick to the top of the knee area.the blow to the lever wasnt the killing blow,but a painfull.but he was so precise with those attacks,and then i was hooked,on that sport for life,i was a bit annoyed since was champonship match,and my idol against the champ,and i know the first round they usually try to figure eachothers styles out,bt still mak enouh to win the round,and in second they try use theyre skillset to lure opponent into traps while still punishing em a bit,but theres still boundries on how much you can block and loved how k1 had to change rules because buakaw was to dominant,like only 1 sattack in a catch of a limb,or the whole shit with clinchs,where buakaw kneed,elbowed hit and no one seemed to have a answer to him.and didnt wanted him on the outside making those vicious lowkicks,ask kohirumaki after he made a unlegit db kick after catcking buakaws leg,boy he shouldent have done that,after that Buakaw made him look like a sparring doll,and just punished him all over without giving him to much at a time,he really wanted to damage him,and he must have with all kicks knees low highkicks and blows,hillarious.but k1 fucked buakaw by masato though he got revenge,but then they used Andy souwer and suddenly giving more points for hits,rather than kicks,which i know what i least would take,so sad that buakaw had to ko certain fighters to get a W,even when they announced buakaw dont win,the opponent cant believe it,onl masato but he knew he only needed to get through the match to get a W.and looks bad to held up a winner who looks like they have been in a 2 hour brawl,and the looser looks like he did when entering the ring,they can only smile and laugh but still they hold up theyre heads.loved when against enricho kohl which got destroyed,buakaw gave him the W after buakaw got a injury,and was finished with that orginasation,and even enricho couldent understand why he won,after kissing floor bleeding all over,but was like Buakaw wanted to give the title to enricho but first beat him up more badly then the first time they duked it out and buakaw won on dec.I would love to go see some khmer fights which should be sick as hell,with real scary stuff happening.where they dont think same way as muay thai.sorry the long shit .. but i agree that a specialist like footballer and ufc Jose aldo and muay thai fighters who hit with chinbone do hell of more damage than bigger slower types of kicks.you can clearly see big guys have hard time putting weight into kicks,while a smaller guy would have kicked you one time on each side after you kicked once.maybe in physics theres something about mass,velocity which determines the impact.but the speed is so much a factor,since most muay thai arent shredded buakaw is though,but usually alim arms and legs,so they keep being fast.bua buakaw,Fairtex,Saenchai isnt your normal muay thai fighters .. they like the elite.do you know what fighting style where bites are allowed,or atleast you learn it,I think muay thai also learns about the bite.
