I couldn't agree with you more. This is a timeless masterpiece and it'll make a great addition to my 4K movie library. Although Matthew Broderick starred in some movies after Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) I'm pretty sure that Glory permanently delivered him from the typecast image he established for himself by playing the role of, Ferris Bueller. Audiences were able to see and appreciate just how great of an actor he was. I still have my VHS Widescreen version that I purchased in the 1990's; years before DVD's came out. Although it's been a lot of years since I quit watching movies on VHS, I did save a handful of them that I had in my collection.
