GLORYHAMMER is the new project of Christopher Bowes, the mastermind of the Pirate Metal sensation ALESTORM. "Tales from the Kingdom of Fife" is a concept album and tells the story of an alternate -history medieval Scotland, a realm of dragons, wizards, magic and dark sorcery. It is the legend of the glorious hero Angus McFife, who wages a long war against the evil wizard Zargothrax, in order to free the people of Dundee. GLORYHAMMER clads these stories in a symphonic Power Metal armor, which will take the listener by storm and will transport them right into the midst of an epic adventure. Pounding doublebass, enthralling riffs and bombastic orchestral parts turn songs like "The Quest for the Hammer of Glory" or "Angus McFife" into catchy songs that will leave you craving for more. GLORYHAMMER creates the perfect balance between in-your-face speed tracks and epic Metal hymns. A real highlight comes in the form of vocalist Thomas Winkler (EMERALD), whose magnificent voices guides you through the adventure. The album was recorded and produced by Lasse Lammert at the LSD Studios -- the same studio that brought you the classic ALESTORM longplayers! I had a bard in a Pathfinder game collapse an entire ledge of kobold archers and killed 75% of the enemies in one round. Basically had gauntlets of stone shaping and bardic knowledge to know how to manipulate the ability to do what I wanted.

Sadly its a load of Bullshit, yes what was supposedly said was inappropriate and wrong but it was said over private messages which should have stayed private between the recipients. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion no matter how wrong or against societies beliefs they may be but whats said in private should stay in private not be blasted out for the world to see. One would think you'd have that safety when talking to friends that whats said in confidence wont be made public.

The band was formed by the keyboard player Chris Bowes (Also the vocalist for Alestorm), a Guy from Perth in Scotland. Probably his inspiration 😊

@@LawlessLonewolf allegations were confirmed to be true though the band members have since apologized and Bowes stated that they never actually believed any of what was said and therefore believed they could get away with it (which Bowes also acknowledged was wrong)

The power metal band Chris always wanted. I'm happy with how Alestorm is, but this is something I find a bit more magical and amazing. Christopher Bowes is a genius, and Toumas is a fantastic vocalist.

Luis Molina I hate hearing this, it makes me want to scream and explain how steel works, at between 500-1000 degrees you can bend steel bars like fucking playdough. Stack a few thousand tons on top of red hot steel I-beams they will buckle, bend, twist, and tear.

Before any of you judge this band, go see them live. I just did at graspop metal meeting 2014..And these guys frikking rocked. The guitars sound great, the vocals are powerfull...the keyboards smash The entire crowd was with the band. And people kept shouting HOOTS after the concert! HOOTS!HOOTS!HOOTS!!

It's true. I never heard about them either before Graspop but they are definitely my favorite discovery of this festival, together with Alestorm. It's just plain fun and you could see the band members of both bands were just having a blast during the show... I love it.

***** Funny thing is, in 2008 alestorm stood in the metal dome which was really really small back then, they were totally unknown. Now they're quite big. Another funny thing is that the guy on keyboard for this band is actually Alestorm's singer =)
