My mother has this condition. And she had a very bad episode in the first while eating she realised the intensity was unbearable on to the left side under the jaw in throat, spreading up till ear. Mainly while eating and Swallowing food she used to feel extreme pain and she used to hold her left side with hand where it pained and tried to swallow. Not even bear when I touch her ear. Went to a neurologist she did mri scan didnt see anything significant. But, two tablets were prescribed and it gave her reliefe. Gabapentin 100 and tegrital cr 200. This helped for a 2years and now the pain is again started appearing slowly. Is It a sign that doc will increase dosage?

Can you suggest some pain killers please

Dr i feel a pain like sharp needle in my throat on left side but i don't have any ear pain and it happening for 6 days is it gpn?? And when i touch under the Adam's apple it hurts little bit

Whenever I sing or try to speak loudly my nerves in my throat pains sharply ( I feel like someone is injecting a needle into the nerve ) and my ears also pains like hell ....Is it glossopharengyal neuralgia?

Sir MRI and X-rays are negative but pain on throat mostly . Agar ya primary unusual cause sai ho jaisa aap na kha excitable stage . Tau isko surgery possible hai

I am 24 year old and im suffering this for 3 days. I keep searching on google but the results is Glossopharyngeal neuralgia which is im not really sure. I cant move head properly espevially if I look up it give me pain at the side of the brain, behind the throught at the side also and also at the side of my ear. When I swallow it give shock. I just want to ask if you think im suffering a Glossopharyngeal neuralgia

sir doctor have prescribed carbamezine and pregeb m 75. He told to take 1) both at night and 2)only carbamezine in afternoon. Sir patient ko chakkar jaisa aata hai. Isliye raatki dawai me se ek subah ko lete hai. Is it okay?
