I really enjoyed your video. I’m completely new to collage and glue booking, I do watercolor and adult coloring. I just wanted to give you a hint with the metallic watercolor paints, they work much better if you spritz them with water a few minutes before using, then kind of ‘work’ the paint until it’s creamy before using, you will get a much more opaque result. However, that’s just the metallics, one really wants the translucence in other watercolors. Thanks for a great video.

I saw another artist lightly wet her paper before beginning to glue and it seemed to work great. Might be worth a try!

Hi Shayla! Just found your channel! New subscriber here!! I am trying to get started with gluebooking, can you please share with me what brand of glue book you are using in this video? ☺️

Hi there, thanks for subscribing! I used Mod Podge for the first page and a Scotch glue stick for the second page! I will say that the Mod Podge warped my paper a little, so I would recommend a glue stick like Scotch Create Glue Stick or an Art Glitter Glue! Hope that helped!
