Great idea Megan. I have to spread my shopping over two or three supermarkets now its crazy. Shelves are empty every time I go, everyone better prepare themselves for recession 2023. I think stores better have tight security because when people can't afford to feed their families, things might get out of hand.

You are so right about next year, Here in California I am due to retire and I am very stressed about what comes in 2023. After Christmas, and throughout the year, any time I see someone giving away an artificial Christmas tree I get it. Cut all the branches off and you've got pics for days in various lengths which are especially handy in the DIY projects that you use several pics to make it more full or "bushy". Wire or zip tie them together and your garlands look like real branches. Don't attach them end to end but somewhere in the middle or third of the way through, and it will really look like it's natural. LOVE your ideas and can't wait to hit dollar tree! (I am quite the DIY'er and used to own a design company specializing in Christmas and found so many ways to use Dollar tree products to extend my budget and create the wow factor. Your videos truly have inspired me!!)

I am overwhelmed with the stuff with all the the cherry cominstuff colors. I am disabled now so spend my days till spring stuck in this bed. I make greeting cards for cancer patients. Finally a crafter that uses spray paint. A lot of other crafters use milk, chalk paint or other kinds of paint that really looks awful and probably takes awhile to dry. Spray paint is easy, gets in all the little crevices and you can get it in a shiny or mat finish. And will save you time and looks so much better. Thank you for bringing crafting into the modern era.

In their defense, spray paint is more toxic and difficult to do if it's cold outside and you live in an apartment. I like spray paint for painting plastic or metal being used outdoors. But honestly, I probably knocked at least a few months off my life from all the fumes from all the cans of spray paint over the course of my life 😢

The altar guild ladies at my church are great about this ... for the big flower pots at our front entrance, they change out the embellishments and bows for every season, including between Advent and Christmas. I'm looking at the big ornaments in the videos, and pondering adding them to the tree next to the entrance, but being able to switch out the colours on them too...

If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

But she was in her early twenties she bleached her hair and she was a knockout! You are as well. The reason I'm telling you about her bleach blonde hair is because it looks so beautiful on her so if you ever want to change hair colors I would recommend going blonde. I wish I could send you a picture. And also I would love to compliment you on this fast moving and very clever craft video! It's fun to watch and the outcome of each craft is fantastic! I was only halfway through the video when I stopped/paused it… and started 2 of the “Welcome” signs using the DT letters & long wood plank. (I stained the back of one, added the black letters to the other side so they would show up better on the natural wood, then stained the edges [using a cut piece of a sponge] to distress it. I even went lightly over the center of the letters. It turned out fabulous! Looked like a long slice of a small tree! The added greenery and black & red ribbon really topped it off!) Thank you for sharing these brilliant ideas!! Now I’ll finish watching the remainder of the video… and may have to pause again to create one of your inspiring creations! ❤

One suggestion is something I came up with last year - take two of the DTs over the door wreath hangers - cut off the over the door part and glue together in a criss cross. Add floral in the center. I also used two of the small bottle brush tree bases and a couple of DT BBQ skewers and made some poles - skis and poles with floral decor... Easy to make and very inexpensive but high end looking! Love all your DIYs - you inspired two years ago to start on my DIY journey! Thank you and blessings!

With the exception of one room which is my winter wonderland room ( silver and white- lots of hanging snowflakes from the ceiling) everything else is pretty much red green and gold. Just a tip from another crafter - you don't have to buy Mod Podge. If white glue or tacky glue is cheaper, buy that. Actually, if the same amount of white glue/tacky glue and Mod Podge are the same price, go for the white/tacky glue. Mix the glue with equal parts of water and you have a very good DIY version of the expensive Mod Podge. I used this on ornaments we made when my oldest child was about 2. Those ornaments are still in good shape 29 years later.

Hello Megan. As usual, I loved, loved, loved this video!!! Thank you for sharing! I can’t wait to try a lot of these DIY’S! By the way… I’m a 64 year old nurse and I’ve never had time to DIY so I’m new to this. Your videos are so well instructed that I feel very confident trying them! Thanks again for sharing and explaining things so well!

❤ nice ideas for decorating my balcony and from door. Silver Bells from Bing Crosby was one of my mom's favorite movies to watch before she passed away. This is the year when celebrating her memories is in my home. She looooved Christmas it looked like a Christmas simple home with lights and garland on her balcony. Her tree would be a village full of ornaments and a town that represents Christmas, Santa Claus, the carolers singing, ice skating. Well you catch my drift. So Christmas is coming very early this year. It ends after the second week of January in my country. Very very nice. I can't wait. But first. . Jesus is the reason for why we celebrate Christmas. We wouldn't have it at all. Thank you again for sharing. 😊

Absolutely love the first two projects. The oversized garage wreath. The two projects using the ornaments as large beads. The deco packaging for pics are so cute. And of course the classy candles at the end, but I would probably do florals vs. greenery 🎄 🎀 🔔 😍

1 John 2:15-17 King James Version 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.

Great video! Doing a gingerbread cafe outside. Put my cafe table chairs out. Took plastic lattice made cafe sign , scotch-guarded a Girafe and teddy bear , made table full of cookies gingerbread foam cutouts puff paint, put chef hats on them with elf aprons , old kids bench decorated with cookies etc all sitting in LR ready for Nov25 reveal👍❤️you inspired me to make the tree snowflake wreath ( I’ll add gingerbread guys in center) for the 2 trees and I hung as backdrop a gingerbread house shower curtain fun fun

I want to thank you for these inspirational DIY inexpensive gifts or personal home decor! I've gotten my D-I-L to similarly snatch up every day, little crafting items from DT every visit. We store them in tubs & end up creating unexpected beauties together/to share with each other all the time! It gives us a treasure trove of jewels to use for frequently needed "shower," "birthday," "holiday," gifts, or donations for raffles!! Keep yours coming, please! I always recommend people snatch up really great post season/holiday sales items or pieces & store them into crafting drawers or storage tubs. They often end up inspiring similarly wonderful DIY gems while you're rifling thru, or as you've done, after viewing another created piece in a store, online or on TV. I look forward to catching up your episodes & sharing them with my family & friends! Blessed Be.

What a blessing you have with Sergio and Javier, they do such an amazing job!! I just continue to get more excited watching your side and backyard transformation!! I has knee replacement 7 weeks ago which has slowed me down, but watching all you're progress has me excited to get back in the dirt!! ( which my husband does not understand the joy it brings me)!!
