I played a club game last night, smashed an old man with the Dutch!!... Thanks for the tips Simon. I got in an early Ne4 and bishop f6, clamped down the Queenside with a5 and crushed his centre! probably my best ever game, you're a legend!

Great video, Simon. I'm so happy you and Tom played and have us so much exciting and entertaining stuff... After watching the CWC, I've been so disappointed with the boooooooring approaches that both magnus and Sergey have taken with their games. You bring chess back to life, mate. Thank you!

I really just wanna say thank you for your work on KZfaq I used to be the Kings gambit player when I was a boy I was exposed to it early on and found it to be exciting and more fun than the chess supplied at school. now are you are exposing me to the Dutch and other openings such as the French defence and now the English. I'm going to experiment with these new openings and bring back the chess I loved. now I only wish that you did more streaming so that I could learn more and more thanks for your hard work.

Glad you're back, Simon. I loved the games and analysis; especially on the London. I've been delaying castling and playing h4 (as opposed to h3) for awhile now and have really enjoyed the results. Knowing that the Ginger GM approves is encouraging. :-)

There'a movie "Hardcore Henry". It should be renamed 'Hardcore Harry' as the entire movie is basically what one of Simon's games would be like from the viewpoint of Harry the H-pawn...

Hey, Simon here on my alternate account - learn the openings you intend on playing in blitz so that you can save your time for the middle and endgame. JK, but that's probably what he'd say! :D:D:D

What I like about Simon, if he loses he doesn't throw a fit and start sniping stray cats. Simon: ffs, get rid of that ridiculous hairstyle! I know this is cocaine chess, but the slick-backed wet hair just isn't ginger, its like you're rebelling against your gingerness. Stop hosing it with grease and let it grow out, you could even do like a giant orange fro and be like the Bob Ross of chess (on cocaine).
