@@Demitrival well, i actually can't say if the moderator did it to be mean or if he just accidentally really really missed the mark in asking her about the discrepancy between her and the character of wednesday addams. Be it as it may. Instead of asking an open question about what new things she needed to learn to believably depict the character on screen, he said smth of the likes of "well but all this talent, all the big words that the character uses, wasn't that difficult?" Those are not his exact words but smth similar. The subtext of it (be it deliberate or accidental) is basically "but she is so intelligent, wasn't all this much too difficult for you? How did u pull it off, being that u are so stupid?" . Of course implying that an actress is automatically not as intelligent as the character she is portraying or implying that a skillset that you haven't aquired before (fencing and horseriding etc) is indicating your intelligence or even saying that (even if it may be true in a hypothetical scenario) is just rude and incorrect. Since she didn't wanna cause a fight, disrupt the interview or imply that he was rude to her on purpose (wich he very well might not have been) she just basically stated the subtext of his question "wednesday is much more intelligent than me" under the guise of agreeing with him. She has no problem with "agreeing" because she is not insecure about her intelligence wich gives the subtext of "if you just called me stupid on purpose, then see that it can't hurt me" and another subtext of "hey, you just basically called me stupid, did you mean to do that?" Btw, some other users noticed, too. And one lonely user said that he could've meant it in a joking way like friends tease each other but that is firstly not a setting u try it in and if that was his intention, he missed it by a mile. All in all the tone of this interview struck me as condescending, be it deliberate or accidental, and that is really sad. Jenna is a very talented and graceful personality. She should be treated with more tact and respect.
