kaya bumalik si Ruffa Mae sa Pinas dahil nahirapan sya sa life style dito sa US. artista sya satin, may house help sya, driver, yaya ng anak nya. samantalang dito sa US...wala lahat yun. sya ang gagawa lahat ng house chores, pag aalaga ng anak nya at dapat din syang matuto mag drive. hindi kasi pwede na lagi na lang syang ipagda drive ng mga kakilala nya dito. Wala din syang makachikahan dahil lahat ng tao busy palagi sa work. mahal din kung ilalagay nya sa day care ang anak nya. maiinip talaga sya dahil nasa bahay lang sya, wala syang trabaho. hindi nya nakaya yung life style dito. mahirap din na husband lang nya ang may work sa mahal ng bilihin dito lalo pa at sa California sila nakatira.

Thank you so much this enlightened me from the bottom of my broken heart , I’m a pinay living in the US , I have so much hurt in my heart .. Rufa Mae so funny , I remembered she always makes me laugh even in my youngest years I’m saying kindergarten days , and I met her in the airport in Macau and that was my first time meeting her in person in Macau way back 2010 and I was still in my youngster years , I always fond of her because she’s always so funny and everything … and watching this video in KZfaq in the middle of my despair being in america with my bb daughter , gave me a smile and laughs , thank you Rufa mar and Nelson this brighten up my sad days ❤ 29:14

No matter where you live it is just a matter of how you embrace the culture, new environment, the country’s way of living. Some people can adjust well, others have hardship adjusting. If your body and mind is not there the end result is being unhappy. Can’t blame her for going back bcoz she is used to making people laugh, an actress, and that’s what she missed. A lot of Filipinos who are in showbiz try living in US but only few really stayed. Two countries with different ways of living. It might be a culture shock especially for those who have drivers, helpers, yaya in the Philippines. Here in 🇺🇸 you will do everything yourself unless mayaman ka at may maid taga linis, taga luto, taga alaga ng bata.

Yes I saw one of her vlog, she was cooking and prepping her apartment I could tell she's struggling but I was hoping that she will make it kc marami naman naka survive and found their heart here but you are right hindi lahat are cut out for the American life. Yung seperate sila ng living situation ng asawa niya ay wala din masyado pinagkaiba sa mga pinoy na nagaabroad at naiiwan ang asawa at mga anak sa Pilipinas.. Hindi naman naghihiwalay ang mag-asawa pag yung isa nagaabroad, they are still married. Dami masyado nega comments. Hirap talaga sa US lalo na pag mag try to immigrate bases on marriage to US citizen. Una, kahit kasal ka na sa USC illegal alien ka parin hanggat walang hawak na Green Card or Permanent resident. Pag-aapply non hindi rin madali, inaabot ng years bago makuha yon. Pag naipasa na mga papel sa immigration nila dito or USCIS, magaantay ka ng receipt number ng normal timeline is 6 to 8 weeks. Tpos Magaantay ka din ng fingerprint appointment para maapprove yung working permit. Pag wala kasing working permit hindi allowed to work, hindi ka din makapg apply ng driver's liscense. Ang tagal ng usual na antay ma approve ng working permit, normal timeline is 8 months. Minsan napapaaga minsan da dedelay lalo p ngayon may covid. Depende pa sa kung nasaan kang part ng US nakadepende gaano katagal proseso. So talagang housewife mgging peg pagdating ng US. Si USC husband or wife lang talaga makakapgtrabaho ksi sya lang may SSN or SociAL Security Number. So hindi talaga bongga buhay dito sa US. Noon nasa Japan ako workaholic pero bigla naging house wife dito sa US at tambay sa bahay dahil hindi makapgtrabaho dahil nagaantay pa din ng working permit. Hirap pa minsan pag asawa mong afam mareklamo dahil wala kang income.

sa akin lang kung may kaya ka sa buhay dun ka sa Pinas, ung mga hindi mayaman pag nagpunta US lahat ng ginhawa mararanasan, basta lang may trabaho ka kasi sa Pinas maraming requirements hinahanap para makahanap ng magandang trabaho or magandang kita sa US tulad ko caregiver nabibili ko luho ko at higit sa lahat napagsasabay ko pa ang pagbili ng properties sa Pinas, tulad ng mga lote at condos. Yung nasa Pinas ako nganga at asa lang ako sa kita ng asawa ko na exhusband ko na since 2000. Sa Pinas asa lang sa sahod sa asawa ko hindi nakaka shopping every week, dapat groceries and pamalengke hindi lalampas sa budget ko pang shopping ko wala din bank account namin hanggang dun lang. Ngayon at least alam ko pag nag retired ako may bubuhay sa akin na pension, pension sa Pinas baka pambili lang ng pagkain. Nakaka afford pa ako umuwi ng Pinas once or even twice a year. Kaya kung rich ka sa Pinas sa Pinas ka na lang.

I’m from the US and I’ve been here for 31 years.. when I left at 19 I had all the yayas/helper/drivers.. It was tough at first. But now I can’t imagine living anywhere else especially the Philippines… She seems to be high maintenance so she won’t make it here literally

It means she's more happier in the Philippines than in the USA and she revealed that in her interview. She started very young as an actress and she already have savings, investments and her own house. So,why she should forced herself to stay in a place if she's not happy there? 😀

It's true, you have to choose tlga kc may consequences ang long distance sa mag asawa. I was torn then before but pumili ka ng priority mo. Di rin ako belong at first but it will take time.. it's called sacrifice. Love is sacrifice, after that you will reap the reward. Now our marriage is going strong and it's my pride.
