Miriam is the reason why I was hooked into pageantry, God has a better plan for her having not conquered the Miss Universe title itself. This lady is such an inspiration to many having experienced that tripping on stage. Until now her elegance and beauty radiates. God bless her and continue inspiring many people. In fact, all the countries in her fearless forecast for MU 2016 made it in the semifinals. Truly she has an eye for beauty. Now that is a woman indeed.

Miriam is really is one of my all time favourite Beauty Queens. I adore her always. This interview is really is very inspiring. I love her always.

The level of growth of Miriam as a human being is exceptional. I just watched few of her interviews in between decades and she was very consistent and articulate, a very effective communicator. I was broken-hearted when she didn't win MU back in '99. It's her pageant to lose 'coz she was really it that year! The Q&A caused her the crown. In my mind, "Damn, she's so close! If only she's a little smarter." But judging now, maybe it was just her nerves, stage fright and her fear of public speaking... she really clammed. Turned out she's really an intelligent woman! And MU just opened doors for her to conquer these fears. God works in a mysterious ways. Miriam Quiambao will always be my Miss Universe 1999. Just as Janine Tugonon is my Miss Universe 2011 (oops, totally different case, Janine was just plainly robbed of the crown!)
