This set of questions tests your conceptual understanding of Geometry and its application to solve Geometry Data Sufficiency questions.
Question 1: 1:09
A triangle is inscribed in a circle. Is the triangle right angled?
Statement 1: One side of the triangle is the diameter of the circle.
Statement 2: Two sides of the triangle are equal in length.
Question 2: 10:34
Triangle T1 is formed by joining vertices A, B and C. Triangle T2 is formed by joining vertices A, D and E. Is triangle T1 similar to T2?
Statement 1: DE is not parallel to BC.
Statement 2: angle(CED) = 110 degrees
The correct answer for these questions are as follows:
Q1 | A; Q2 | B

sir is the diagram given as part of question 2? I was assuming D and E to not be on the AB and AC respectively and got E as the answer.

Sir, if possible, can you provide an estimate of number of questions asked for each topic in GMAT? (31 questions)

Hi Karthik, It is known that approximately 2/3 of the questions are of the problem solving format and 1/3 of the questions are data sufficiency ones. So you can expect around 18-21 problem solving questions and 8-11 data sufficiency questions. In terms of the topics tested. the GMAT has not disclosed exactly how many questions you will get from each one. It is also very likely that the questions would vary to some extent from person to person because they are generated by the computer, based on your performance.
