I thought you were going to show how to remove the actual box. Does that require a certain tool?

no just loosen the middle bolt and it will release as you loosen it.

After you do all of this, you have to take it back to a dealer anyway to get a new program installed? If it has a cover, how did water get into that whole fuse block? I don't know why I'm writing this since it's a typical video where the poster doesn't answer questions!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I may have to do this tomorrow. I am getting a code for change the fuse block and the truck goes into reduced power mode

I had to remove the fuse block to get to the water outlet. It was raining the whole weekend and I’m afraid that water may have gotten into the block. I did everything I needed to do right, and I put the block back the way the manual says it should be done. Now my car will shut off on its own. It will also do this weird thing where it slows down and speed up a few times in the span of a few seconds, before it continues driving properly. I wonder if all of this is due to the fuse block.

The fuse box just provides power to the rest of the car but it has electrical plat inside which due to water can short and create further problem with BCM and that one controls all you mentioned. So, it might give you more headache if BCM went wrong. You can try to disconnect the battery and sometime it will reset itself. Keep it dry

Sugar Hills Farm Aquaponic I looked into it a few weeks ago and realized that I hadn’t fully tightened the nut where the positive terminals connect to the fuse box. When we go over a bump or a pothole, the terminals would bounce. As soon as I tightened it, we got rid of the problem.

So I was wondering if this worked on your car.... I’m having the same problem with mine right now..... suddenly stopped working ....drls are working and directional signals but no low or high beams costly problems my mechanic is looking at it on Tuesday when I get results I’ll let you know ... Hope it worked on your Acadia thanks for the info!
