I noted the bracket supporting the transmission dipstick tube was held in place with a hose clamp. Mine was too as the spot welds originally holding the bracket to the tube were broken and tore holes in the dipstick tube. This was causing a transmission fluid leak out the holes, down the tube and onto the pan. You might want to check your tube for holes where the bracket was welded. I brazed the holes in mine and smoothed out the broken welds on the bracket and fastened the bracket to the tube again with a hose clamp.
