The original hydro boost that came on these model year trucks had weak and squishy brakes. The hydro boost that came on the 2011 model year trucks had upgraded internal parts and is an upgrade that works for the 2001-2010 year trucks. This is a complete bolt on upgrade and no modification is needed although there has been a few people that needed to ream out the rod hole that connects to the brake pedal.
