GMC Syclone Render - the all black baddest shortbed pickup makes a comeback

Created exclusively for HotCars by digital artist Timothy Adry Emmanuel, this 2023 GMC Syclone is for everyone out there who loves a fast pickup, but also loves the idea of being able to hustle it down the road. That's something that trucks with all-terrain tires and lifted suspension are going to not want to do willingly. And, really, the original 1991 GMC Sierra Syclone paved the way for performance pickups in the first place, and is the best bet to bring back the tarmac-scorching variety of truck. At its launch, it went on to become the world’s quickest pickup truck. Its 0-60 mph time sat between 4.3 seconds on a good day, to 4.6 seconds on a bad one. In the early 90s, if you were behind the wheel of a Syclone, that meant you were quicker than a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. And if you came across a Ferrari 348, you’d smoke it too. Now rocking good ol’ twin-turbocharged V8 power, this new Syclone certainly looks the part of reclaiming its throne as the quickest pickup in the world.

They should definitely make it but not with the 3.6 DOHC. They should use the 4.3 V6 that's used in the base Chevy Tahoe and Silverado. It's like a V6 version of an LS with direct injection. Turbo that baby and let it rip!! 💪🔥

Unfortunately this will never be unless you can pay a shop to completely fab everything for you for ALOT of money. Too bad i don't have that, tis gorgeous tho.

Surely they can come up with a better idea for a hood scoop than 2 items ripped off a box top. Either a single scoop or cowl hood would look better imo.

It’s a nice truck but way too expensive, I love the aggressive look but I don’t need the big engine. My usage is for daily use and some towing.I like a 3.6 liter is big enough for me.
