I take you on a tour of our new tow rig. It’s a 2006 GMC C5500 Topkick formally a U-haul truck.

I got engine braking on my 05 GMC Sierra 2500 diesel it so nice when towing

That most likely has the Allison 2300HS transmission. It's their "Highway Series" an all around good unit but if you are going to be hauling heavy all of the time I would suggest getting an Allison 3000 series when the 2300 gets old and tired.

6 maybe 7. About the same as a diesel loaded

Did you get this straight from U-Haul? If so how was the process of purchasing it?

@@RaysGarage-dl4bq I got it straight from U-haul. I went to a location that had 20 trucks to choose from. I was there for 2 hrs looking at different trucks but when I picked this one the buying process only took about 20 minutes. its a super easy process. You can also look at the repair and maintenance records on each truck from mile 1.
