TK Series radios from Kenwood have a feature called “Super Lock” which disables the ability to change the channel that the radio broadcasts on. See all Kenwood Radios: ss1.us/a/GJMM1paD
Previously, radios shipped with the buttons programmed in a way that made it easier to accidentally enable this mode. This video shows you how to disable Super Lock and scanning on the radios.

I have 2 tk-3100 2 channel switch and volume button on top and PTT and Monitor buttons on side. Cannot reset. Do you have instructions you can share to factory reset or unlock. When I press the PTT red light flashes and beeps

This is cool, thanks. My radio makes a lot of static noise, this is because of interference with other walkie-talkies nearby, how to get rid of the noise man???, pls mercy,

I work for a service center and work on these radios. I get a lot of these in because they don't change channels. I always disable the superlock button in the programming because frankly it's the dumbest "feature" ever, especially when it's programmed by default.

@@gregvail5616 Do you mean key lock? it should be disabled by holding down the button that enables it. My memory's a bit fuzzy, I left that job about a year ago and I rarely worked on that model (it's old and crappy, think about upgrading) but try holding down each button individually for about 10 seconds, one of them should unlock it. It depends on how it was programmed.
