My playing has considerably improved with a few tricks from Hikaru: - say "should be winning" every two or three moves - squint your eyes when the position gets complicated I don't recommend the "looking away while calculating" trick though, tried it without success

He's said this before, he doesn't try to excessively farm but that he could get his score even higher if he actually wanted to. Ever since kramnik raised alarm bells about hikarus "online elo", Hikaru been trolling by actually farming opponents for much longer than he normally would for an adoption stream/video 😂 Magnus gonna come for the record again eventually lol

25:56 is the position where someone in chat spotted that black had a mate in 2 with Nh3 28:09 well into the next game and minutes later he reads this in the chat and almost immediately recognizes the mate Such mind boggling recall ability Like if you missed the mate the first time how do you remember that random position so well

Kramnik - if you look closely you can that there is a reflection in the wall behind him that shows a screen. I’ve used my strong glasses I can see the reflection says stock fish. Also did you see the way Hikaru moved on his chair suggesting a vibration equipment to help him identify moves, very similar to the way Hans moves and we all know about Hans.

@@andromeda9818 I don't think there is inflation. In OTB chess it is the opposite. I would guess the same for online chess. The reasons for that were discussed by Naka himself. It is a bit mathematical, but the fact is that now 2800 OTB is very much harder than 5-6 years ago.

2100 vs 2700 peak at 2800 {fide} what to expect? easy farm for Hikaru, this is the aspect of online chess that kramnik don't understand, kramnik thinks 2900 online are like super gm or something but in reality he just fvk up some moves and the other guy manage to spot that mistake i mean in his games, christian guy almost got Hikaru 3-4 times if he got sloppy. nice demo Hikaru hope you're doing some secret training for the candidates
