Cher is the best example of someone who was happy and has a bright personality but has a really sad past. He deserves all the happiness in the world, don't hurt this golden retriever.

Gungawin needed Cher to be his comfort zone but actually he is the one becaming Cher's comfort zone, I like how he hugged Cher so tightly to stop him from talking, when you realize that the person who actually needs more care and attention is Cher you would understand why he acts all carefree, Gungawin enjoyed being around drunken Cher even more 😅.

Cher asking for a sip of drink but ending up drinking the entire bar is just hilarious! Gun was just sitting there with his one glass of wine, enjoying the show😂😂

I love how Cher and boss are totally different in personality's and what makes their chemistry work so well.

Cher's capacity to carry a boatload of pain is astounding. Not only is he looked upon with disdain by his own village for getting Tian pregnant which they assume resulted in her and her child's deaths, but he's also carrying the pain of knowing the girl he held in his heart was sleeping with someone else: having admitted to only going so far as to hold her hand...once. He didn't even know what it meant when two people kiss; he asked his buddies what it meant, so to know his entire village despises him because they believe Tian was pregnant with his child has to be a monumental weight (and secret) he lugs around. Not just that, but knowing that he (Cher) is/was *not* the baby's father means someone in that village is/was and by not owning up to it (and maybe implicating himself in Tian's possible murder vs suicide), Cher knows that his first love is dead because of some other guy in his own village but let's Cher take the brunt of the hatred for it. And he's kept that secret inside himself and let everyone assume the ugliest things about him. I'm thinking he didn't call Jack when he got in trouble for punching that treacherous, sadistic 'friend' because Jack has known him a long time so Jack has to know about Tian and Cher's heartache over losing her. If Thoop is her brother, then Cher has lost even more - he's lost a younger brother when he lost Tian - the attitude Thoop had toward Cher when 'borrowing' money from him was unexplained, but it seems that if he is Tian's brother, he also believes the rumors and blames Cher for the loss of his sister and uses Cher as his own personal 'ATM' knowing Cher won't refuse him - I think Thoop uses Cher because he can easily manipulate him over perceived 'guilt' he thinks Cher carries for getting his sister pregnant and her premature death. Conversely, I'm also thinking that Thoop might know who fathered Tian's baby and what really happened to her, but he's in some sort of hot water himself and the money he keeps 'borrowing' from Cher isn't for gambling debts, it is blackmail money - he keeps quiet about Tian's situation and the other man keeps quiet about Thoop's situation for periodic hush money. What a chaotic mess going on inside Cher's heart that no one, not even his closest 4 friends see but Boss sees and feels it in just the short time he's known Cher. Not sure if that dam inside Cher is going to burst, but if it does, the outcome is going to severely depend on which of his friends is with him when it does and who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty helping him through it.

I love that there's always progress in their relationship in every episode. 😊😊

GMMTV has finally learned the lesson that dragging drama across many episodes does not bode well for them. Quick, realistic, and meaningful resolutions are the way to go now. MSP displayed that to us to great effects. On the other hand, Moonlight Chicken presented conflicts that are so multi-layered and plain trauma on top of trauma, that a resolution in one episode is just not going to cut it. A Boss and a Babe is bright and bubbly like MSP, so it is just fitting that it doesn't drag drama and turn this feel-good series into another dumpster fire like Enchante (sorry not sorry, lol),

I'm sad for Cher. His past love unfortunately ended in a disastrous manner. Drinking one's sadness is never the solution but Cher is enjoying himself as well by exhausting Gun. I feel like at the beginning of the next episode Cher will scream. It is sad for Tian here cause she did not need to die even if she was pregnant. However, age and all the worries coming with it and her living in a village led to her taking that step.

Poor Cher and Tian. 😢 I feel like there's still more to her story as well, to explain why her younger brother is living by himself now with no family support. I guess we'll learn more in a future episode. That 'high school friend' was an awful person though. He deserved to be punched. I love that Cher called Gun for help instead of Jack or one of his other friends, because he trusts him and feels comforted by being with him. I feel like that was less about not wanting Jack there and more about just really wanting Gun to be with him. I also love that line, "you were one good thing that happened to her". I think that's a wonderful thing to be in life, something good in someone's life, even if (especially if) other parts of their life are bad. ❤️

I really like the characterization and it suits them well. They are like characters in manga brought to life. Can't wait for next Friday.

I love how Gun is always there for Cher, even when Cher started being his safe zone Gun is now becoming one for Cher. I can't stress enough how much it means that Gun doesn't force Cher into telling him his past or what happened, he is just helping him without expecting nothing in return. I melted when Gun told Cher that he was special for him and that no matter what bad things happened to Tian, he was a good thing to happen for her. THE DRUNKEN SCENE, HILARIOUS, Gun's unfazed face and low key enjoying it and playing along with Cher because he knew Cher needed it was so funny, the way they click their glasses and everything. So great this chapter, I love these series. Force and Book are doing amazing as Gun and Cher, and all the character and actors as well!
