ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

After the "curtain fall", I literally had to pause the video to brace myself for what's coming next! Their acting was so on point, that I was feeling everything they were feeling. I was so anxious for them that I was afraid to press play to continue watching. What incredibly talented actors they are to make me, a viewer feel these feels!

I just fucking love the fact that Pran is not afraid of everyone knowing he’s dating Pat not because he’s a guy as it usually happens in Thai series, but because his parents and friends wouldn’t approve of it, we have seen Pran’s parents are way more strict than Pat’s, which is why he is not as open as Pat.

Pran’s parents literally moved him out from his high school just because he plays in a band with pat. Can you imagine what would Pran’s parents do if they know about his romantic relationship with Pat? Honestly, if I were Pran, I would be overly cautious and anxious as well.. not to mention their friends and the whole faculty rivalry. Poor boys :( they just want to love each other but their surroundings can’t support them.

Alright, this being my second time rewatching I realize that if Wai really, truly, cared about his and Pran’s friendship he would’ve never let those curtains fall. At the end of the day he could’ve just asked Pran about what he heard backstage in private rather than outing him and Pat to everyone in the theater. I understand that he’s pissed about being lied to more than once but if he was a true friend like he believes he is he would’ve respected Pran’s reasons for hiding his and Pat’s relationship. 😤

Upon being found out, Pat seemed to be worried about Pran and his feelings more than anything, while Pran has this look almost of acceptance, he's kind-of got this "well, we're out now" expression on his face. I just think the development is amazing: Pat went from impulsively posting to immediately worrying about if Pran is okay, and Pran went from worrying about the consequences to immediately accepting the situation and his part in it.

When the curtain fell, my heart beat faster. I was like no it's very soon, I'm not ready. As a spectator i felt the fear of being exposed. It made me realise how fabulous this series is and how amazing the actors played their characters to the point it made me felt every emotions so deeply.

I've read a novel version (not sure if that's the actual reference) and the situation is quite the opposite here. Their friends are more accepting of their relationship. Tho I hope that they make the situation lighter when it comes to their parents. Novel version is really a disaster and heart-breaking in that part. 😥

Honestly Pat & Pran’s relationship together is healthy, what’s unhealthy are the environment around them. Friends, Families represented in the series are clear examples of society even today. Some would learn to accept it given time, but others won’t.

Their friends are really toxic. It would make sense for them to actually cut ties with each of the groups and find mutual friends that respect them and are on their side. I hope in some of the future episodes we see them take some action in this area and concentration on themselves. An Pran really needs to get rid of Ai'Wai.

I'm so glad Pran said he cares about Pat more than he cares about being busted, even if it's scary. And he made it a small thing compared to their whole relationship! He really took responsibility for his role as Pat's boyfriend here, I love it because we can feel that they won't easily break up due to some misunderstanding of something.

The way they immediately apologised is so healthy. I mean they realised their words and actions had hurt their partner. Almost immediately the words were out of their mouths, they had a look of regret. Then and there they decided to apologise, talk to each other, understand each other. They didn't wait for another day. They didn't wait for things to pile up and become complicated. They knew exactly what they did wrong, tried to put themselves in each other's shoes, tried to compromise a little for each other's sake. There is nothing dramatic about it. They don't make a mountain of a molehill. I mean right after that curtain scene, I was so damn scared how it would go after that. I half expected Pran to be angry at Pat for being reckless, but it was dealt with so much maturity. It definitely showed how much they cared for each other. I absolutely love how they are aware of their priorities. Once the secret is out, they don't go back but are open about it from thereon. No ifs and buts, no explanation to anyone, just how it should be. They don't owe anything to anyone, but they are still considerate of other people's feelings. That means a lot. That's how much they love each other. I mean they seem like two normal guys genuinely in love. It's not like one of them is super fascinated by the other or is fanboying/fangirling over the other. It's not that they like each other because they had helped each other ( i mean that seems very much like an obligation to me sometimes. It's like "oh you helped me do this song. I will fall for you now." That seems kinda unrealistic tbh. I mean you can be just grateful to them, be their friends. It's not necessary that you fall for them for that reason. I'm not saying it can't happen. All I'm saying is it's unlikely that it can be the only reason how and why people are falling in love in most series. ) In Bad buddy, however, there is no such thing. Pat is grateful to Pran for saving his sister, but that's not why he has fallen for him. There is no 'because' in their relationship. Pat just loves Pran for being Pran. Pran just loves Pat just the way he is. It's not because he's a popular guy and everyone's falling for him. This is how normally love stories are. People just gradually falling in love, being happy and satisfied with each other. They just connect, click and bond over time . That's it. This is why I love Bad buddy so much. It's very realistic. The pace is absolutely good. I can feel the emotions and love from behind the screen. Kudos to the whole team.

When Pat hit the continuous note on the xylophone, it was quite obvious that he's furious and exhausted by keeping the relationship a secret from the worldwide...on the other side, Pran, realizes that how Pat feels...and starts recalling their stages in the relationship, both of them participated equally, not one individual who is head over heels...

When Pran said "I am your boyfriend" and Pat gave that look, i was actually really moved. The expression shows just how much he's thankful and happy that Pran said that. The two actors together are the best pair and i said what i said! Their chemistry is seriously the best. No cringy moments. Ohm playing Pat and representing his feelings so well is just amazing, you can just feel the love he has for Pran. Pat wants to show everyone how much he loves Pran and doesn’t want to hide it. Nanon is seriously an amazing actor as well and the fact that we could feel how Pran feels shows how much he actually cares for his Pat and how much Nanon put into his acting. Bad buddy is gonna be my favorite BL series for a long time. Big credits to Ohm and Nanon, one of the best BL actors of all time.

When those curtains fell, I had to pause the video to collect myself, I felt everything that was about to come and even I, as a simple viewer, was not ready to handle it. The way this series is conveying the feeling of the characters to the point that we viewers can feel their emotions is amazing.

It's about time Pran admits his feelings for Pat. That scene with Pat getting his frustrations out on the xylophone really got to me. He has to keep all his feelings bottled up because he respects Pran's decision to keep their relationship a secret when all he wants to do is scream it from the rooftop; that is really hard for him. But then the curtain dropped and everyone will soon know of their relationship. Be careful what you wish for Pat. lol And I seriously hope Pat finally kicks Wai's ass. He's earned it after holding back--for Pran's sake--for so long.

The way they give way to each other and try to understand where each other is coming from to make this relationship work is so commendable. They have a mature approach towards these issues and their communication is what most broken relationships lack. Pat and Pran show us how to keep a happy relationship, how to bend sometimes to make the other happy and the line ' but I care for u more' makes it so much better.

I agree--Pat was the surprise in this series--much more mature and capable than he appears. You cannot judge a book from its cover--LOL. I love that he has a jovial nature but still is quite responsible.

There's a difference between being immature and having a playful nature. Pat, to me, has always come across as a very sentimental, giving, loyal, fearless but intuitive person who just happens to like to play around. But I never saw him as being immature. He has his moments when he'll get all serious and drop some serious knowledge, taking the person--usually Pran--by surprise and then a moment later he's back to his happy-go-lucky nature. That's what I love that about him.

Pat was daring in the book too. He never denied his feelings for a guy. The moment he realised he liked Pran, it was endgame. He dived head deep and never turned back. He never questioned his sexuality. He was a proud boyfriend. And he always wanted to tell everyone about Pran. I see that P'Aof has changed Wai's character a bit. Cz in the novel he didn't do anything to compromise Pran's relationship with Pat. Yes, he was pissed he wasn't told about it but it was the reaction of both friend groups of PatPran. They all started to support them and protect them eventually. Which was really sweet. Since we were anyways told that they won't follow the novel per say, I do understand Wai's character turning a bit bad for dramatic purposes. I mean it's a drama and we do need some angst and hurt between them to keep us on the edge. Hopefully he'll come around and stop being a douchebag soon. Guess we gotta hate him for the moment. Overall, Bad Buddy is seemingly the best BL so far from GMMTV! Chemistry is fire. Even the cute moments are not awkward nor cringey. They somehow feel so natural and effortless! OhmNan deserves all the praise for their phenomenal acting. Just so prim and precise! 4 more episodes and I know everyone of us will have major withdrawal symptoms after this ends. I'm glad we'll see OhmNan next year again. I don't mind them not being together as a couple but super glad they have more projects. And of course they'll be in some as costars which is great! Their era just started and turned a new chapter in the BL genre. I know OhmNan is gonna be my standard for any other future BL couples cz they raised the bar to a whole new level ❤️

That Xylophone scene was so intense. The emotions Pat expressed through his eyes and play. The switch from the angry emotions to sad especially when Pran got up. I really felt it. This cast is seriously one of the best this year and ending this year which was black and white for most people with this is a blessing.

the whole ep is good, but more importantly, i want to talk about the scene where Pat plays the xylophone. it was so touching that i felt hurt too. without any words spoken, just the eye expression and the sound of xylophone, all the inner feelings of Pat were perfectly conveyed. thumbs up for Ohm, he did so great in this scene, i’m truly impressed.

This is literally the healthiest relationship I've ever seen in BL history (along with Aoki and Ida from My Love Mix Up) no unnecessarily stretched fights or drama, I love how they communicate with each other rather than sulking or giving the silent treatment! I'm glad that the new BL series coming out recently are giving us healthy relationship goals, whether you're straight or gay or bi you can always learn the language of love from these characters ❤️ I also want someone to love me like Pat and Pran love each other now 🥲

The way both acknowledged they were wrong & apologized so soon. So excited to see how the story progresses. Initially I thought they might try to cover up, but didn't look that way from the preview & I'm kinda happy abt that, but sad too knowing Pran was not really ready prepared. Anyways it is what it is. And like he said, he cares more for Pat. So hope they get through it without any scars.

Wondering if it is because he's so close to Pran, but still Pran didn't confide in him about his relationship, despite him asking multiple times what was his deal with Pat. He had even gotten into fight with Pat for Pran. So, I am not allowing myself to be disappointed just yet, coz I do realize he holds Pran close, & sometimes our closest people are capable of hurting us even with minor, insignificant words or actions. I'll just let the story unfold🤞. Already preparing myself to cry when they sort things out lol

I don't think i can watch another series again after bad buddy. This series really meets all the highest standard i'm looking for. I literally watch it everyday on my daily basis in order to feel the overwhelming of being love and in love.

The power packed acting on this episode is just 🫶 I have watched many BL series, most of them are Biggest hits ... I started watching this series with minimal expectation today.. But the more I watch I feel this one is an "underrated gem" ... Starting with capturing storyline, screenplay, directions and strong acting from both male leads, this one just won my heart❤️

I think why Pran is more scared of people finding out because he had been taken away from Pat once and he doesnt want to go through that again hence the paranoia. Pat in the other hand only started to realise his feeling recently so he doesnt know how it feels like to be taken away or having someone you love taken away. Even though he said he was lonely when Pran was taken away, it wasnt as strongly as what Pran felt.

Im loving this series. Their intense love for each other is overwhelming. They are prepared to take chances eventhough they fear their parents and friend finding out about the relationship. I have admit that i am impatient, I want them to be together as a couple. 🤗💙💙💑

Not to be me, but I just have to rave about Ohm’s acting during that xylophone scene bc he was absolutely phenomenal. The way you could see so clearly the emotions that went through Pat one after the other. The angry morphing into regret. It was all so very evident in his eyes. Clear as day. The acting from both Ohm and Nanon on this show has been truly incredible…and I know it’s only going to get even better as we head into the angst arc of this series (I can’t wait to see it but also I’m WORRIED).

I don't know. I thought she would be supportive upfront but the look she gave suggests otherwise. Maybe initially she was shocked and slowly came terms with it ~ Their friends are assholes though. I thought at least korn would be supportive but like he literally disowned pat. And pran's friends are no better. Wai is so deep in his own resentment that he doesn't see it's hurting pran. God hope everything ends well with Pat and Pran ♡

I think Pa's look is of concern for the both of them because she knows that the two of them will face hardships if their parents found out. I think she would be supportive of them but just worried about how it could end up.

So no one's gonna talk about the curtain scene. My soul left my body for a second. I literally stood up on my bed out of nervousness and shock for them. This series is phenomenal, I didn't expect any scenes yet so shocking.😭

I’ve been hooked watching BL series lately and so far this is the best series I’ve seen. The story, and characters are great. The main 2 lead actors are great and professional. They excellently execute their characters. Best couple in BL land.

I think Wai heard everything they said because he had Pran headset on. Idk if he's the reason the curtain fell since Pran and Pat didn't touch the curtain but somebody exposed them on purpose.

@@rikadew nah it's wai who did it. I think in the car scene earlier I think wai was the person who saw patpran in car. Moreover wai was predicting earlier episode there is something going on between patpran. But this episode it's clear. Wai heard everything and he purposely get off those curtains.

I know the story starts off as enemies-to-lovers... but IMO, PatXPran is the one of the most beautiful friends-to-lovers story I have ever experienced. They talk, they fight, they banter, they make up easily, they understand each other. I am genuinely in awe of their healthy relationship.❤ Touchwood🤞
