Once upon a time, there was a child That child believed that life's possibilities were limitless They lived in a world where dragons soared through the skies, knights battled enemies so as to save princesses and kingdoms, the elements could be manipulated and formed into weapons or energy blasts, they could fly boundlessly through the empyrean realms on avian wings, they had superpowers, they could talk to animals, they punched asteroids back into space, they traveled to other worlds, they saved the world by adding their friends' power to their own, they could heal others completely with a touch When they were a child, there were dragons, fairies, pixies, gryphons, gnomes, ogres, orcs, sylphs, sirens, nymphs, elves, elementals, witches, wizards and magic Once upon a time, we were all that child We believed in the impossible Then reality made us neglect it and that caused it to wither Yet it's not too late We can choose to stubbornly remain that same child at heart even as our bodies age We can care for it and cherish our imagination until the day we die and beyond Then we can finally meet the One who gifted us with such incredible power

"Our time has passed, John." After 12 years, Dutch looks back on what Arthur said to him, "Our time has pretty much passed." Dutch realised, after betraying Arthur, someone who he'd known for 22 years, that he was right. And Dutch gave in to how incredibly mentally unstable and mad he was, he just let go of his life.

Video games have long become more than just a game. It’s a story that is even better than a film because you are involved in a process, you are the protagonist of it. And no game is limited by time so it can tell you much more

I swear, that shot to Roland's back, and how all the Crimson Raiders started to break down cut deep. But Tiny Tina's breaking point? That one cut the deepest. Yeah, Mordecai, Brick, Lilith and the Raiders lost their leader and friend who they had fought along side. Tina basically lost a father all over again. That pained cry of 'It's my story' as Tina's trying to keep Roland alive in her own way... I actually had to take a break from Borderlands 2 at that point.

we live a thousand times in each game, just as in each universe we are born and die in an endless cycle of experiences that we will soon forget... but every rule has exceptions and even forgetting also has exceptions and sometimes we cannot forget who we were and who we met life is usually as fun as the games we play if we want to

Videos like this exemplify why I play games, why I play the single player campaigns, why I will always say story is better than fancy graphics and gimmicky mechanics, why I prefer a good campaign over good multiplayer. And above all else, this is why I made my channel, to show these stories to everyone I can, so they may too catch a glimpse of what gaming can do to tell a truly emotional and amazing story

Just games dont make you cry, just games dont make you feel like youre part of the world youre in, they dont make you feel bad for things that happen, they dont give you a chance to explore stories so unique, so special that become part of your life... Maybe we cant really put it into words, but its always more than just a game...

i remember playing resident evil 6 for the first time on chris and pearces story at the end where pearce stayed behind made me cry for so long the connection that the game gave you. the way that they communicated throughout the game just made it a whole lot of emotions it made me feel like i was right there with them in that moment. people say games are bad for you but in reality they are different they teach you how to love how to forgive it teaches you more things than what youve originaly knew about things games are here to teach and show the right way not to teach bad or anything of the sort
