@malamuteaerospace6333 MA63, lived in Florida all my life, at least half within 500ft from the ocean. I used to love diving, and going to the beach often included the beach off Hillsboro Beach (N.Fort Lauderdale area) because of the small coral heads just off shore. Over the years, I started noticing a marked increase in sharks in that area, mostly bull sharks, quite a few over the 5ft mark. Much like gators, they get my respect at the 6-foot mark. I certainly agree with you. There are " too many" to make diving as fun as it used to be around Florida's east coast. Perhaps it's just me, but I've also noticed over the years that they are not as afraid of divers like they used to be. They stay in the immediate area while zig zagging around for a while. Used to be sharks would just take off, not anymore Great Whites were unheard of anywhere around Florida. I think Bullsharks are much more aggressive and dangerous than GW's; just my opinion.

This is why you don't go swimming around bridges and piers, especially in the FL Keys. I'd be more surprised if he hadn't had a shark hit that bait. Bull Sharks make Great Whites look like absolute sweethearts when it comes to natural aggression.

It's not because of guys like this. Bull Sharks love hanging out under bridges and piers and are super aggressive naturally. Bulls are all over the place in the Keys. Probably Miami too, but I couldn't say 100%.

@@pezzuttisandro2059 beautiful of human stupidity in those areas, and there’s a shit ton of other reasons why humans would be attacked by sharks but for a shark to attack a human on purpose isn’t true, humans are the worst thing a shark could eat because of no protein for the shark and a human body is purely bone. Humans aren’t even on the sharks food chain 🤣 that’s why when sharks do attack it’s people who are in swim suits that look like seals and other animals that are in the sharks diet

People are talking about natural aggression.. I don't see that, the shark didn't immediately strike it came up and sensed what it was and then bit.. that's why it came up slowed down and then after a little bit you see blood cause it knew it was a fish. You see the same thing with hammerheads, they will come up to investigate too make sure it's actually a fish/food

Just saying this cuz the comments are Partially true but not Quite, THE sharks would’ve loved that pier way before these guys even tried this, sharks also DONT stay in areas for long times unless food is a constant so don’t expect these sharks to stay for any longer then a few days if food doesn’t show, they may be Vicious and brutal creatures but they have brains, If you wanna blame anyone here blame the people who made the pier cuz that shit attracts Fish and fish attracts sharks and sharks attract thrill seekers, these guys ain’t even encouraging these sharks since if the video has anything to say for it it’s a one time thing, These sharks aren’t going to keep coming back after this one time, if I had poor writing here my bad English isn’t my main language
