Some Lore: the first Nephilim created was Absalom, then soon after Death, Strife, Fury and Stife were created, Absalom's essence was used as the base to create every nephilim, Absalom is the oldest sibling, then Death, Strife, Fury and War is the youngest

Even more Lore: The Chosen fought in Darksiders 1 are called Abyssal creatures and are considered Old Ones and come from the Abyss, The Abyss is a dangerous, Shadowy Realm described as a graveyard for Worlds

dont forget to do side missions to fight all the optional bosses they are really cool especially the frost king and also do not forget to play the dlc ofcource once you finish the game its a must

Some more Lore: Ostegoth's race is so old he is considered an Old One, Old Ones is the generic name for those races and beings that predate the Three Kingdoms. E.g. the Makers, Charred council, Crowfather, constructs and even your phantom horses (Despair and Ruin)

Darksiders 2 is one of my all time favorite games. It's nice to see someone else enjoy it so much. Loving this series.

out of all darksider series, darksiders 2 is my most favorite game. The setting, atmosphere and the character are so amazing. Myth you need to play it's DLCs, after you finished the main story.

"Cheese goth" Goth dangit Myth :P The glee and happiness and awe you exude when discovering the Land of the Dead and seeing the Throne arrive is a delight to behold, man. It's heartening to see, and for me personally also heartening that you like Absalom already. He's pretty sick. What also makes me glad is that you have *finally* discovered the delayed combos and sweet spot releases! :P The sweet spot releases are the same for Charge Attacks-- they don't work by waiting for a long time, but by releasing it at the sweet spot during the charge animation. For the Bucklers, it works a bit different. If you hold down the secondary weapon button *right* as an enemy hits you and then you press the secondary button again, Death will do a hard-hitting counterattack. Glad that you decided to check out the claws a bit too, short as it was. To be honest, (and i said this before in comments on earlier videos), as strong as a number of the weapons are i'd love for you to explore and use different subtypes of weapons in battles. And especially their charge attacks, as they are different for every subweapon type. I already described the Buckler variety up above. Fun fact on the dude you got the new moves from: if you picked the other dialogue option, he would introduce himself as Draven. The same Draven to whom the Dark Avenger belonged! As for Argul, i find him particularly fascinating as he is an optional boss with quite a substantial amount of extra lore! He's my favourite secondary boss and quite well known as generally the most difficult one out of them all in the base game among the fanbase. You can find him in a deeper floor in a crypt/dungeon up north of the map. I also highly recommend going back to the Forge Lands first and seek out Bheithir (the fire bat that you needed the Deathgrip for) and Gorewood, two bosses you haven't fought yet. Also, do check out the map for people with sidequests and what you still have to finish. Muria's quest new in particular leads to a unique boss fight. And i heard that the Deathinitive edition includes all DLC's, which have new areas and bosses, so please check those out as well. FINALLY! I recommend you take a look at the Serpent Tome inbox every once in a while! By now, you should have access to something special. With that all said, thank you again for all the episodes thus far and the fun you have with it, and i wish you a lot of fun and good luck with the future regardless of what the game in question is :)

Mythy if you want an insane scythe, you need to get a possesed scythe and feed it up and make it have the buffs you desire, such as crit chance and damage, possibly make them higher percentages than chaos fang and also have additional buffs

honestly man watching you play this has made me fall in love with the game again after so long of not playing it properly im thinking of doing a 100% on all 3 of them , love the series man keep it up tip: get a possesed scythe and make it so that the last weapon of each level you sacrifice to it has a stat you want then that stat will transfer to it you can make wrath health steal and crit ll on the same weapon

Alredy commented, but I HIGHLY reccomend checking the inbox and doing the optional bosses once you're done with the Dead Kingdom, as, at that point, you have all the tools and stats to beat the optional bosses As well as the Crucible unlocked up to WAVE 50, which dropa the first piece of the Abyssal Armor

Crit build with the chaos fang is insanely good

Just as there was nothing to watch, Myth comes and saves the day.

You can make your own epic scythes from possessed weapons, you can get health steal and wrath steal on them as well by sacrificing legacy talismans from vulgrim. However, you will need demonheart talisman from 2nd death tomb in kingdom of the dead to get a lot of possessed weapons with no stats on them. Here is how to make them: 1- get a bunch of possessed weapons and choose the scythe with the highest base damage. 2- sacrifice legacy talismans on 2 other possessed weapons and hope you get health steal on one and wrath steal on the other 3- sacrifice the stats you want to the high base damage scythe in order of importance ex. health steal into crit chance, into crit damage/strength into wrath steal you can only have 4 stats on each weapon. have fun and good luck edit: health and wrath steal are stats you can only get by using legacy talismans or vulgrim boxes

Keep in mind that the Chaos Fang levels up along with Death same goes for some weapons as well. Also when you upgrade possessed weapons, you can put either Health steal or Wrath steal much better if you can have both of them in 1 weapon. With that build you can spam abilities and have less worries of dying due to Health steal. In addition to that Health/Wrath steal will greatly help you in the Crucible.

I believe you can make possessed weapons stronger in this game, you can essentially sacrifice other weapons to them. So if a possessed one like the scythes you want to keep but overall damage isn’t to your liking, you can sacrifice others to it and beef it up. They sort of glance over that explanation in game

There are some hidden chests in some areas. In order to get them u have to destroy the surrounding grave, skeleton sticks or just simply any item, how many of them are in the game i believe nobody knows but i think maybe around 10 hidden chests are in the game and some of them has very cool looking legendary armor and scythe

Hey Mythy u probably won’t see this but if u do once u beat the campaign of DS 2 u have to do the crucible if u beat the crucible u will get the abyssal armor for death in this game and trust me it’s so cool

Darksiders 2 has an issue for Rules of 3, but it really makes up for it in the story telling and world building with is why I love this game so much ❤️
