My friend, which member of this family i.e. Patiala family is not a singer. Three brothers and one nephew have received Nishan-e-Imtiaz, and the Presidential Award for Excellence. Namely Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, Ustad Hamid Ali Khan and Asad Amanat Ali Khan.And what music award is there that Patiala Gharana doesn't have? India's highest music award, the Ram Laxman Award, was won by Ustad Hamid Ali Khan and Asad Amanat Ali Khan in 1979 or 1980. While at that time they were barely 15 or 16 years old. Patiala Gharana is the pride of our beloved motherland Pakistan and classical music. The family whose students include Ghulam Ali, Farida Khanum and many legendary singers, to say something about it is tantamount to showing a lamp to the sun.

میرے دوست اس فیملی کے یعنی پٹیالہ گھرانے کا کون سا فرد گلوکار نہیں ہے۔ تین بھائیوں اور ایک بھتیجے کو تو نشانِ امتیاز، اور صدارتی ایوارڈ برائے حسنِ کارکردگی مِل چکا ہے۔ یعنی اُستاد امانت علی خاں، اُستاد فتح علی خاں، اُستاد حامد علی خاں اور اسد امانت علی خاں کو۔ اور موسیقی کا کون سا ایسا ہے جو ان کے پاس نہیں ہے۔ بھارت کا موسیقی کا سب سے بڑا ایوارڈ جس کا نام رام لکشمن ایوارڈ ہے، وہ 1979 یا 1980 میں اُستاد حامد علی خاں اور اسد امانت علی خاں نے جیتا تھا۔ جبکہ اُس وقت اُن کی عمریں بمشکل 15 یا 16 سال تھی۔ پٹیالہ گھرانہ ہمارے پیارے وطن پاکستان اور کلاسیکل موسیقی کا فخر ہیں۔ جس گھرانے کے شاگردوں میں غلام علی، فریدہ خانم اور کئی لیجنڈری سنگرز کا نام آتا ہو، اُس کے بارے کُچھ کہنا سورج کو چراغ دکھانے کے مُترادف ہے۔
