Hi Al, nice boats at the show. You should head to NZ when we have the boat show. You will fall inlove with the tech with aluminium boats.

man what a nice thing for boaters....and please don't get disheartened by our friend's "wigglesworth" comments,nobody's perfect,you ,me and himself to start with.that was a nice and comprehensive first appreciation of Sealegs,and I have been stuck enough times at low tide to wish I had these here!!!!!good job man.

I’m an upholsterer so that’s what I noticed, first of all it’s gorgeous but that dark vinyl is going to fry people on warm clear days. Beautiful though, love it

What you need to look for is the sealegs that’s made on the stabicraft boats it’s a bulletproof boat that can drive on land

Can you put these on to a trailer from land? I imagine that the front leg going on a trailer would be very difficult.

Joon Chung , yes you can , I’m from New Zealand and we often see people take these up to there holiday homes or when they go camping , most people use a flatbed trailer as you can just drive it on

They also come with a regular boat trailer, just keep the wheels up and trailer it, with a flat bed the height might be an issue, but you can still lower it, really cool design...

Matt Botha no one uses a flatbed for these. They use a boat trailer with a track up the centre.

Jerry Stott these have been around in New Zealand for over a decade , they opened in 2004 or 2005

New Zealand designed, idea started in 2001, first boat 2004, factory is in Albany Auckland. NZ is also the home of the Hamilton jet.

Theres a few boat builders here in NZ now using Tectrax (an alternative to the SeaLegs system) who are building totally hidden, retractable wheels
