👉1. The first way for those users who upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without losing data and less than ten days have passed since the update - after returning to Windows 10, all your personal data on drive C will remain unchanged, activation will occur automatically:

👉2. But if you bought a computer with Windows 11, or more than 10 days have passed since updating Windows 10 to Windows 11, you need to skip the first part of the video and go directly to the second part:

This video was great. I never thought that it is possible to do an inplace replacement back to windows 10. I only made it within the system for repair. The second part was the most interesting part of the video. One question. Why is "keep personal files and apps" is greyed out, so that I cannot choose it. Must I always install my programs again? Inplace replacement works that everything is there and in this case it isn't possible? Or is this just in your case?

1. Within 10 days after upgrading to Windows 11, you can easily return to Windows 10 without losing your personal files. And then you can upgrade to Windows 11 whenever you want. 2. In my opinion, after a clean installation of a new Windows computer will work better than after an update, and there are several reasons for this. The only drawback to a clean install of a new OS is the complete removal of personal files on drive C, but there is one method, and with it you can install a new Windows without losing your license and personal files. 1. If you upgraded Windows 10 to Windows 11 and after that you return to Windows 10 within 10 days, in this case, all data on drive C will remain unchanged. 2. If you upgraded Windows 10 to Windows 11 and more than 10 days have passed after that, when you return to Windows 10, all data will be deleted only on drive C. There will be no changes on drive D or any other drives. 3. If Windows 11 was originally installed on your computer, and you downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10, all data will be deleted only on the C drive. There will be no changes on drive D or any other drives. 4. If in Windows 11 when installing games and other applications you specify the path to drive D, it is natural that some files will still be installed on the system drive C and when you downgrade to Windows 10, these files will be deleted along with other data. I can’t say for sure right now, I just don’t remember, but apparently after downgrading to Windows 10, you need to copy the icon that launches the game from drive D to the desktop of drive C and this should be enough to run and use the game or other application that used to be installed on drive D.

1. If less than 10 days have passed since Windows 10 to Windows 11 and now you want to return to Windows 10, the whole process takes 20-30 minutes. 2. If more than 10 days have passed from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and now you want to return to Windows 10, the whole process will take 1 - 2 hours. 3. If you have a PC with pre-installed Windows 11 - the whole process will last 1 - 2 hours.

@@b1rcu If Windows 11 was installed on your laptop, then your laptop is not old yet and Windows 10 will work fine on your laptop.

For the people having issues with 11 from 10.. theres an option to clean install 11 but in my case I cant do clean install since I already updated from 10 to 11 and I cant go back to 10 to do so... what I didi is I ised tge reset buttong default in windows it is not clean install since it will install the bloat it came when u bought the device but still just clean it again

The only issue with 11 is the control center it is delay but everytthing is smooth even in games

I did directly upgrade now windows 10 from windows 11 and now my pc is not starting canyou help me??

I’ve downloaded the media creation tool since my laptop came with win 11 installed and I just don’t like the new update, so I ran the setup. It only shows me the license terms and the options to either upgrade or create installation media. I accepted and chose to upgrade the PC and it immediately begins to install. It didn’t show me the other options/steps that were shown in the video and the installation just stops halfway through 😤😤😤😤😤😤. I’ve repeated the download like 4 or 5 times already and the installation still fails. No error pop up or anything, the setup window just closes. I’m not sure what to do and ion like win 11 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Don't worry too much, but just put this method aside and get Windows 10 in a different way. To keep the license, install the same version of Windows 10 as Windows 11 was. If I buy a pc with win11 pre installed, do I need a win10 activation key? Or will I be able to go straight back to win10 with the installation guide?

If you buy a Windows 11 PC and install Windows 10, your Microsoft license will be retained, but only if you install Windows 10 the same edition as Windows 11.
