@@ZachAttackO0 They don't .. it's just a set .. there are dummy cities built for this. It's usually a a long street like this one with an intersection .. They can shut off a street in a city for normal street shots though, but they can't do all that damage to it. too much time the authorities won't allow and tons of money.

It's not all practical though, aside from the locations, most of the *effects* were CG. Very obvious CG at that.

+Blue Whovian they didn't nuke the city, watch the movie. They did use a lot of CGI but it was CGI that couldn't have been done with practical effects. Everything in this movie that could be practical was practical, BVS just couldn't do that.

BIGGEST LET DOWN IN MY OPINION: The enemy in this movie. Spoiler alert. Just some magical creature that's shooting a generic electric beam into the night sky after regaining its powers back. I was looking for a group of bad guys that would equally match the Suicide Squad which would also make their services even more necessary since it takes one to know one.

I really was disappointed with the outcome of this movie, Jared Leto barely got any scenes. But it's alright, in the scenes he did get, he killed it.

He was honestly horrible at the joker, couldn't laugh properly, made him look so stupid and then to top it off we have 8 year olds running around going 'Joker is my husband I love him, blah blah blah'. All credit of mine goes to Heath Ledger who will forever be the greatest in my eyes

+Potato Nintyone no, I mean the real joker as in the actual joker from the comics, you know the one Leto's is supposed to be based off of? he couldn't give less fucks about Harley. He abuses and tortures her both physically and mentally. He thinks of her as property instead of as an actual person. This movie version makes them out to be the "perfect criminal couple" when in reality they're nothing (or rather should not be anything) of the sort
