I think, at this point it wouldn't be a spoiler to say, that D is a big, big tsundere. And Koguma Ranmaru was the first one to see it, og Sakurama and Suzukiri use him for their own gain, whilr Koguma and a few other characters in the future will be at his side because they trust him and know his nature.
