The Go-Go's were inducted into The 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday night October 30, 2021. The Go-Go's didn't have any musical masterplan. Punks at the start, they became rock and roll pioneers.

I got to say this is one of the best bands ever, they all harmonized so well which in my opinion is what makes a band sound great...but to make a band truly great is how they get along with each other...and they killed during their time just awesome..

I know everyone talks about Kathy but to me she was the gas for this band. She was the one with the work ethic who came in and told them what they needed to do to be great (according to the interviews I’ve read). She’ll always be my favorite. And she sure wasn’t hard to look at!!

The drummer, Gina, after she joined the band (which was before Kathy), also really got them to practice much more than they had been.

The most amazing phenomenon about this group to me is how often Belinda is out of tune yet it never negatively impacts the performance.

They started as punk band so that's their roots singing out of tune. But I think she sounded pretty good seeing this song was almost 20 yrs old in 2001

It is an absolute crime, the roots of which apparently date back to the early 1980s. Apparently the guy who is now the CEO of the RR HOF was an east coast record executive in the 1970s and 80s who hated the LA music scene at the time, and that is when the Go Go's emerged on the scene. He has apparently never been a fan of them. It is an absolute travesty.
